I thot WoO drivers could not take part in non sanctioned events. Is this true? Is their penalties for non compliance or can they if they dont run the WoO car, meaning they have their own car with different sponsors etc? Or are they free to so what ever they want on any non WoO nigthts? If they have the freedom why wouldn't everyone of them have been there?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Going off memory, but I believe they are required to request permission for events that are held at tracks not on the WoO schedule. There's a timing rule that I can't recall right now as well - something within 24 or 48 hours of a sanctioned event. I just perused the rulebook and couldn't confirm, maybe someone else can.

I don't believe the "timeframe" rule is in effect anymore. You do need to be granted permission to race another race though.
