A friend gave this to me off of one of his race cars in case I needed it for the 68 Camaro I'm building. It was working fine when he took it off, but I am using a wet-sump system in the car and can't use it.
I know it is a Barnes unit, but I have never touched a dry sump system before and I have been told it is a 5-stage belt drive unit.
I posted in the General forum too to see if I could get more info on what this unit is. I honestly do not know much about it other than what I put in this thread.
I know I'm a newb here and I have no involvement in Sprint racing, but feel free to check out my username on triadfbody.com, pro-touring.com, lateral-g.net, fbody.com, or any other boards I post on related to GM F-bodies or musclecars. My username is either 4birdman or Birdman on those boards. I just wansn't getting much interest for the pump on any of the boards I post on, so someone suggested I try a Sprint car forum to see if I could move it.
