Christopher Bell is the second coming of Kyle Larson, he's that impressive. Non-Outlaws take 4 of the top 6 spots, hello PA...

Christopher Bell almost had Schatz at the Royal last year. He's one heck of a driver. Got to see him quite a bit in Ohio the past two years he's always a threat to win. I don't know if I'd go quite as far as Larson, or even if Larson is old enough to have a second coming for that matter lol

Congrats the Christopher Bell.
Please explain the "second coming of Kyle Larson" comment. I did not see the race so apparently he ran lines that no one else ran tonight? Passed some cars above the cushion?
Like I said, didn't see the race or highlights yet.
Obviously, for you to make this comment, there was more to it than him winning from the inside of the 2nd row?

He rarely races sprint cars anymore and even more rarely 410's, after being passed by Mr. Schatz he repassed him and drove away, he is a very gifted young man on his way....By the way, he ran the top, the bottom, the middle, wherever he ran he was the fastest, it was pretty dusty and there was lapped traffic as well...

One of my pet peeves is when people put Bell and Rico in with Larson. Both are tremendous talents, but Larson is a once in a generation driver.
Kudos to Bell tonight, heck of a drive.

I'm not sure but hasn't Bell won in a NASCAR truck, a USAC Midget a 360 and now against the Outlaws in the last couple of weeks?

I was there. I'd have to think Long & hard if there were more than 5 meaningful passes for position all night and Bell made 3 of them.

The F.Q.I. (Fan Quality Index) was pretty high last night. There was no one standing up during the racing, or falling down the steps drunk, at least in my section. Overall it was a pretty tame & orderly crowd. But maybe they were just tired from the Knight Before.
Who knows.

Just more support of how special the 80s and 90s were. We are probably being a little too critical of Eldora. Its lack of talent and balls that were not seeing great stuff on the wall more than track issues.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

I see what you did there Sapmeister, you still got it my old friend.
This format of fast cars to the Front Row is a joke, if not for Shane Stewart last night there would not have been a meaningful pass in 6 Heat Races. USAC inverts 6 and puts on a better show 9 out of 10 nights, it seems. Heck the PA people know what I'm talking about for their weekly shows and their Feature invert....

I was and still am and always will be critical of the format, mot Eldora in this case. That's for another day and they were running about as high as you can get anymore, last night.
Watch when the 24th fastest car starts on the Pole in his Heat Race tonite, this is a format that will produce passing and sandbagging during qualifying such as lifting 50 feet early, lol. Tonights Heats will be somewhat like Knoxville's two preliminary nights at the Nationals, the two best nights of racing action all year long most of the time.

I like everything about the WoO Format except the lack of any invert. If they kept the exact same format and added in an invert 4 in the heat races like the all stars and many of the tracks I visit it would go a long way to make the heats better racing. I'm glad they don't just give the fast qualifiers the dash anymore. They've made steps in the right direction but I do hope they add an invert in the future again. I believe Dale Blaney also passed for a transfer. Not sure if it was him but there were 2 drivers out of 18 who came from outside the top 3 to transfer out of heat.

Isn't the 4 invert exactly what they had before this year and then got rid of it (or two years ago, brain is foggy)?

And an All-Star race last Saturday against a pretty stout field

If you invert 4 or 6 everytime is there still a need or reason to have a dash? If they did wouldnt they try to finish 4th or 6th making the race a waste of time and fuel?
What is a realistic way of staging the A main if you have 4 heats? Do winners start 5th to 8?
How do you eliminate sand bagging? Do you give huge points for fast time and heat wins so it would be better to win a heat and finish 4th or 6th in the A?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!
