Yes.  It was a good interview.   Highlights:

1.  He beat the All Stars with an engine block from 2000 and other engine parts that are 20 years old.

2.  He is now taking some time off to get that engine rebuilt.   It is their only motor.

3.  He said something like "there are 100 drivers between here and Kansas that deserve a ride more than Tyler Walker does " and vented his frustrations about that.

Great interview, states his case but doesn't come across as bitter or bitchy.

If I had a ton of money, I'd support him.

Thinking Logan should be a regular at Lernerville. I agree with his comment about Tyler Walker.I cant believe the owners let the 35 car sit all this time when there are many drivers who could run this car. Guess they only support criminals, must be like work release.

I think it was 2014 when Logan was in the RG3 car (not his own) that he ran Lville about 6 times.  Was it 2015 when he was leading Silver Cup at Lville and Gravel took him out on the front stretch?

This coming from a Tyler fan, I can see why he would be frustrated. As well as many other drivers that work their butt off with low quality equipment.

That being said, I don't think we can fault Tyler for taking the opportunity.

I happened to be in the Pittsburgh area in April, so I went to the Lernerville season opener. I really didn't know a thing about Logan Wagner when I got there, but after watching him win that night, I left appreciating him. Races hard and clean, and seems like a good person.

Loves to put it up top near the Haud line...exciting to watch and yes clean and hard.  I remember a few years ago, maybe 2014 or 2015 when he and Carl Bowser just traded sliders for what seemed like 10-15 laps at Lville.  Bowser won and they talked in the pits about how much fun it was to race each other hard and clean.

People forget Logan went to Knoxville Nats two years ago and darn near won "Rookie of the Year."  "Lost" it by one spot to Aaron Reutzel (who finished one spot ahead of Logan in the C or B main, can't remember that part). He went in his Dad's 55 ride.

doubt there was bigger gap in racing resources in all the years of ROY for the top two...

Yep, great point...Logan reached out to us, but we didn't have any funds available that we could access quickly to help him out...

You have no idea what the hell you're talking about. The 35 didn't sit on Walker's behalf, it was parked because the coal industry was on its ass & the funding for the race team took a big hit. Most car owners do it for fun & don't see the need to go broke trying to keep a race car on the track. If you don't believe me, go talk to Dawn Sorokach. She's a very nice lady & I'm sure she'd be pleased to answer any questions you may have.

I believe it was reported that Walker's family also helped out financially. It certainly helps landing a ride if you can bring some monetary/sponsorship support. With the exception of a very few big name drivers, it's pretty much a neccessity these days. I'm glad to have the Sorakach's and Tyler back. Great owners, great driver. Hope they win some races.

Logan Wagner - good driver/class act and seems like he does extremely well on the smaller, racier tracks(wins at Susky and Lernerville) where it isn't such a big $$$ motor game. Kinda make me wonder why he isn't at Lincoln on saturday nights.

Not sure I agree with this. Knoxville, Eldora, Port yeah I'd agree. Lville is high banked and usually slicks off. HP doesn't matter quite as much here. Dan Kuriger won a feature here last week. Low buck driver who's engine components are probably 10 years old (I don't know just guessing). It's a racy track but HP doesn't matter as much here.

He did win a feature at PPMS which is a BIG 1/2 mile (closer to 5/8) but the thing about that track is drivers sometimes put their "small track engine" in for PPMS as track prep isn't the best...they only run 410s a couple times a year.

Don't go posting the truth on here about Tyler and the 35.....it makes some on here very grumpy.........

I have to question the judgement of the Sorokach's.  But then again money talks!

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!
