Just wondering are the All Stars paying a point fund this year ?
With Sheldon and Kinser leaving and Tim Shaffer running just Outlaws last few weeks seems like nobody is really chasing points ,DQ OF Chad last night could end up costing.
Saw that Tim and Cody Jacobs helped get the car ready for Tyler for Port wonder if they plan on running the Weikert weekend?
On a local question any word on where Matt Campbell has been missed last two shows at the Grove?

There are 17 full time all stars this year. Chad Kemenah, Caleb Helms, Caleb Armstrong, Ryan Smith, TJ Michael, Bradley Howard, Max Stambaugh, Roger Campbell Jr., Hunter Mackison, Jordan Mackison, Brent Matus, Brandon Matus, John Garvin Jr., Tyler Esh, Brandon Spithaler, Ryan Linder and Dane Lorenc (who has been inconsistent on coming, not truly full time). So yes there is a point fund. One of the largest groups of drivers they've ever had tour to my knowledge. The Florida races were not mandatory for teams and they were awarded 75pts each night that they were not there as opposed to the 90 show up points you'd receive for failing to make the show. About 10 or so drivers came down and raced at least Bubba or Volusia. Below is a direct quote out of the "2017 Members memo #2" in the team portal on the all star circuit of champions website.

The 2017 Points Fund will pay up 15 positions:
$35,000; $20,000; $15,000; $10,000; $8,000; $7,000; $6,500; $6,000; $5,500, $5,000, $4,500;
$4,000; $3,500; $3,000; $2,500 [/quote]
Tim Shaffer wasn't a full time all star last year or this year, he is more of an invader/true outlaw now to say the least. And also, Blaney and Sheldon leaving (blaney didn't have much of choice, car lost sponser and couldn't afford to run big schedule) hurt the top of the all stars this year. Kinser did to a lesser extent but only because sheldon and Blaney left, it wasn't like kinser ran up front often anyways...
