This will be my first trip to knoxville, what are some things i should do or see while i am in town, thank you.

The obvious would be the Hall of Fame, and if you're a partier then the Dingus Lounge. That is right across the street from the track.

Definitely stop by the HoF. Lot of great stuff there. (Think they will have the Swindell display up this year). Also as mentioned, Dingus or simply anywhere right outside the track if you are a night owl after the races. I would also suggest heading out to Slideways at least once. The Nascar guys usually stop out there on Friday afternoon of the nationals for the Kick it to Cancer campaign. Pretty cool deal and another fun place. Other than that, I would suggest sampling as much food from the street vendors both at the track and along the main highway as possible. Plenty of good food to eat.

The Sprint car Hall of fame is a must and i will surly make my way over to Dingus, thank you.

The NASCAR/Slideways thing is on Thursday. Kick ball on Friday.
