Hey all,

Over the past year I've become more interested in Sprint Car racing. I recently stumbled upon The Cushion which seems sort of like a DoD for Sprints (at least regarding my most important part of DoD which is the video highlights). I'm wondering if anyone has used both and if the value for The Cushion is similar in your mind to DoD? Seems like the selection of On-Demand video is a lot less than with DoD (they sometimes have 8-10 video highlights in a weekend). Is there any other benefits like articles, etc. on The Cushion? I don't really see a whole bunch on the site. I guess what I'm really wondering is if it is worth subscribing to.

Thanks,

Jeff.

I subscribe to both as I am a fan of both late models & sprints.  The Cushion doesn't have the articles & stories that Dirt on Dirt does, but they have full race coverage of a lot of events up on the site within a day or 2 of the event.  Most (if not all) of the All Stars races are on.  They show some qualifying highlights & then all heats, b mains & A main.  Usually the full show is condendsed down to like a 40  minute video.  They also cover some of the California sprint series & some other events throughout the year.

Both are good.  I have also ordered some PPV from The Cushion and those have been top notch as well.

I think all the different PPV sites broadcast different races, so it depends on what you want to see...

My question was related to the subscription plan, not the pay per views. The Cushion does not really make it easy to see what all is available to subscribers so I was asking if anyone has been subscribed to DoD and could compare The Cushion to DoD as far as membership value goes. The first response was exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks,
Jeff.

I never checked out DoD but I really enjoy my subscription to the cushion, as was stated above, it's not just highlights it's the entire race minus yellow and red flags, intermission or track prep, you get the top 2 or 3 qualifiers from time trials, c main brain dash and a main all in less than an hour.  They cover Knoxville weekly racing, all stars, King of the west, and a bunch of other stuff, not to mention archives back to 2012. Great way to experience tracks and races from across the country that I probably will never get to see any other way, Well worth the $10/month just to see all the Allstar races a few days after they run. If you like the Outlaws then get a free subscription to Dirtvision and you can watch all the Outlaw races since the year 2000 to present for FREE, can't beat the price and it's a ton of Sprint car racing. Enjoy

You're welcome. Even if you have subscription, different websites shoe different races. Depends on your interests
