How about a photo-journalistic review of the Western Modified Nationals?

I don't think he was looking for the finishing results but rather how they were attained. Who passed who, where they started, best slide job. A story. There isn't even so much as a victory lane photo anywhere.

Unless they fixed my laps, they didn't have the first night's results. The second nights you have to do some analysis to see who won.

Who won? TK or B. Wimmer? Mylaps.com has TK at the bottom?

Maybe one of their professional credentialed media representatives that attended could fill us in. They said they had given so many media credentials they could not afford to give anymore so there must have been somebody there to report the race or snap a victory lane photo.

The reason that TK and Dan Simpson are listed at the bottom is because somebody didn't fill in all the blanks. Mylaps sorts the results by class and since TK and Dan didn't have the 410 class listed, they got put in their own "No Name" class.
But if you look at TK's total time and laps, you see that he finished 2nd to Brandon Wimmer, ahead of Ronnie Day, as has been stated in another thread. TK had the fastest lap of the race.

On Saturday night Wimmer won, Tk, Day and BK. As for passing, I think Tim passed one car and Brent might have passed 2. Pretty crappy racing. TK got by Wimmer going into 3 and after Wimmer tried to take him out the yellow came out and TK was back in 2nd. It was follow the leader all night and a very poorly run show. Maybe people are to embarrassed to admit that they went......lol

Man, after reading all of the feedback, it's to bad that the show sucked so bad and the track wasn't prepared properly, because the car count was fairly good (23 BCRA midgets, 23 SCRA 360's, 15-16 winged 360's and 15-16 winged 410's). That is one of the largest turnouts of the year for the BCRA and the SCRA! Hopefully someone will get a clue and turn this into the prestigious West Coast openwheel event that it deserves to be. How many races do we get to attend that feature midgets, non-winged 360 sprints, winged 360 sprints, and winged 410 sprints? COME ON GUYS, and make this an event for the ages!!!!!!!

Could not afford to give anymore? When your trying to build a premier openwheel event, the media is your biggest friend to help with exposure, and coverage (ie: getting the word out, both verbally and visually) of the event!!!! Do these people have NO CLUE? Being selective and stingy with credentials is nothing but detrimental to the event and the track! Some people just don't get it...........Maybe the event needs a new home???
