was wondering if anyone had a count on the number of shirts that were collected for Billy's dream? and how much money did they collect for the raffle....I thought it was a wonderful thought, and glad that someone picked it up and finished what Billy set out to do.

9z i was out there over the weekend and heard there was around 170 shirts all i can say was they were on every table in huge piles i dont know what the last actual number was or how much money was raised also Bass Pro donated 1000.00 to Billy's family and one of his buddies took a car ( possibly his spare car if he had one ) that was stickered up like his around the track and even paced the field before the start of the A-Main show Ed

The No. 47 that paced the field on Saturday night was Billy Kimmel's back-up car. It was driven by Kyle Pruitt, a young 410 driver here in PA who was one of Billy Kimmel's closest friends.

I walked around with Mark Coldren Friday night after the races and collected a few more. Last count was close to 400 t-shirts collected from all over the place. Just about every type race car divison was represented with a t-shirt of some sort.

Kudos to everyone involved on Saturday at the Cook-Off as well as all those who collected and donated shirts for this cause. Billy would have been damn proud of the effort put forth by all!!!

Ed, if you visit www.beerhillgang.com, they have Billy Kimmel shirts for sale under "Shop BHG." That would probably be the best way to get a shirt by mail. You could put a post on the Grove message board to inquire about the availability of shirts. I am sure someone would respond quickly to your request if you ask about a shirt on that board. Smile

The last order of shirts went very fast and the last 6 shirts were sold on The Hill Friday evening. I think more are being ordered at this time.
