Pretty good night at the races. Same subject different venue, 25,000 to win 1000 to start show and 27 410s. Not saying it is Badlands/Brennan's fault. Not saying it is JMP/Quiring's fault, but for all of the racers that had been bitching for years about piss poor payoffs why in the world do you not support good paying shows?
I am NOT bitching out promoters as they are putting up the money and its NOT their fault, WHY do racers not want to race at these deals??

Didnt help that NOSA had a 4 day event scheduled against this event. Pretty sure we lost Dobmeier, Zomer, possibly Nygaard, and Lou Kennedy.
I dont think the format is real friendly to anyone that isnt a heavy hitter/decent qualifyer, as evidenced by the 17W. 5th quick on qualifying night time trial effort. Never completed a lap in his qualifying heat race, and gets to start 9th in the feature and races his way to 8th for a lock in for Sunday night. . Same with Brook Tatnell. good qualifying effort (6th), doesnt complete a qualifying heat lap, and gets to start the feature based on his time trial in 17th, ahead of the B finishers. Page Polyak, for instance timed in 13th, raced all 8 laps of her heat and finished 5th. (2 spots behind her starting spot) and has to run the B, and Im alright with that as a fan, but it makes me scratch my head when someone doesnt even complete a lap and gets a pass to the A main.

Been asking that question all season long. When this type of shows is longer around, what will the bitching be like then?
Also, in reference to another posting, Thomas Kennedy ran at Jackson and Papa Lou was in his pit.

For whatever reason not alot of the big names from Badlands showed other than TK and TMac but it gave some smaller budget teams a bigger piece of the pie. Either way it was 3 good nights of racing on a season that is starting to wind down.

Doesn't look like Mark Dobmeier raced anywhere this weekend according to the NOSA results.

They should make it $2,000 for 20th and 10,000 to win I bet they would get 40 cars.

My guess would be that Jackson Motorplex is not done building upon the Nationals, improvements
on the grounds and the payout will be bumped up also. But thats just my guess

Dobmeier's engine did not fire for Friday's A main at River Cities, he was supposed to start 5th. He spent time with family the rest of the holiday weekend.

Gonna go on a limb and say he has 3, maybe 4 or 5 other motors on hand. But can't fault a guy for spending time with the fam. it also took a 5th on Saturday and a top 10 on Sunday for someone just to break even on the weekend When you figure in travel fuel, tires, hotel, pit passes, and more tires.

what are you talking about?. I went to both big races this year and both were exciting In their own way. My calculations are not incorrect When calculating someones travel from somewhere like grand forks, tires, fuel, hotels etc...but based on your quick hate-filled response, I don't expect you to understand. And for the record, I don't believe I have ever talked negative about Knoxville or Jackson. But yes Saturday was a tire eater all night. It happens. Chill out
