it was a helluva of a race. Really good racing throughout the entire night. The speeds were good too turnng the track in high 11's and low 12's. Steve Kinser was having car problems, claiming the injectors were hanging up. I think SK is just done he doesnt have it anymore even though he really misses racing

When I talked to Steve earlier in the week for my interview, he said that they were using one of Kraig's motors for the race and he was really worried about losing a motor for his team. So if there was any reason to believe there was issues in the motor, I would bet Steve parked it. Throw in the fact that Kraig got upside down in the feature, it was not exactly the night they were hoping for. And he;s got to run Sunday as well at Lebanon Valley. He didn't even run the Dash and came out for the feature and tagged the rear end to give the fans a chance to see him. But he was scheduled to start 8th and timed well

Glad someone brought up the start and park by the King. It doesn't seem to me that he'd be the type to start and park. I know he's 62, but I tend to believe that it was a mechinical issue more than him not wanting to run the race. Timed 5th quick I believe, finished 3rd in his heat race. Sounds like he still knows how to turn the wheel.

Great night last night. Racing was spectacular all night and the field although a bit light in numbers, was stacked with quality. Before they ever turned a lap, my money was on Blaney, Kemenah or Sheldon. Grandview is the type of track those guys thrive on. A high banked, 1/3 mile is right in the Ohio boys wheelhouse. I was thoroughly impressed with Sammy. Make no mistake about it, that man can still wheel it. Grandview is a TOUGH track both physically and mentally and he damned near got to Blaney at the end. Who know what would've happened if he hadn't had to fight the car through the middle of the race due to the front wing being knocked crooked because over the last few laps, he was by far the best car on the track. It was a great night and I'd like to congratulate Dale on another win in Pa as well as the rest of the All Stars for bringing a great field with them once again. The days of the All Stars coming to Pa and getting steam rolled are over I think. They bring some great talent to town anytime they come and they've now won 3 out 4 against the Posse this year. The Posse guys will likely win at Williams Grove and Lincoln but it isn't a given anymore like it used to be. Blaney, Kemenah, Sheldon, Holtgraver etc. can win against anyone anywhere.

There was no doubt engine issues for Steve. I thought he actually looked really good for being an old, out of shape chain smoker who hadn't turned a lap since February. He time 5th, made it through his heat despite fighting the motor issues and put it in the dash.

A-Main was excellent (& dusty!)
Made up for Midget rainout at Lincoln the nite before... after 5 hr. drive
Agreed, Sammy looked great, thinking about going to Lebanon Vally Sunday, haven't been there yet, ONLY 2 hr. drive

Not so fast my friend. The days of steam rolling may not be over quite yet. 8 out of top 10 at the Grove and 9 out of 10 at Lincoln (without Hodnett, Esh, and last weeks winner J. J. Grasso).
I expected Blaney and Kemenah to compete for the wins and Sheldon and Holtgraver to do better. Kemenah really had a tough weekend. Still it's refreshing to see the All-Stars bring a nice field of cars. Better than the 3 or 4 in past years.
