There have been a lot of great finishes but being a Dude fan, I have never heard that place as loud as when he passed Sammy on the last lap! Great Race and hopefully the Dude can get the magic back.

Same here! I'm not necessarily a Lasoski fan but for me no Nationals that I witnessed in person was better than that one (1998). Being in the infield between turns one and two I remember just looking at the crowd going nuts and thinking "there can't be that many sammy fans up there!". It may just be the best race of them all that I got to witness in person.
