Thanks, good Clauson interview. I have my doubts about him saying he would like to go fulltime WoO some day, tho. He's one of the elite wingless drivers. maybe the best, but from what I've seen, pretty average with a wing. I guess he likes to take on new challenges & chance for more $$.... 200 races in a year is amazing, hope he pulls it off!

Well, I'm sure he's a quick learner! OK, "above average"?

He won Indiana Midget Week & Eastern Storm consecutively. I guess my point was that his winged results didn't compare to that....

Agree with Chilly here. He also hasn't been doing 410 winged stuff for "that long." Obviously he has better experience with the engine power, etc. having driven a wingless 410 (over say a guy jumping from a 305 to a 410, etc.), but it is different dynamics wing vs wingless and having not done it somewhat regularly that long, he's definitely above average. Especially considering how often he jumps from wingless to wing to midget to silver crown, etc. Hard to get into a rythm with a wing on, jumping around so much. BC is a top notch driver no matter what he's in and given more and more regularity with a wing on will cotinue to grow. He's also got a number of Top 10s this year against WoO and others.

Its a shame Smoke and Kandy don't have champ cars anymore.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?
