Anyone heard if Dusty Zomer and Billy Balog will be at Jackson on 5/20. Where can you find Zomer's schedule or isn't there one.

There isn't one he keeps everything pretty low key and pocms and chooses wisely where he goes but I'm almost positive he will be there since I know for sure he will be running Badlands full time which is obviously the next night

I would almost say he surely will Not be there on Friday.  if they are, it will be to take

Tod's money with a grin on their face. Not to support the NSL. I'll

say 10% chance he's there and 90% chance he will be in Grand Forks, or doing nothing.

That would be one of them deals where when you feel you've been wronged, you carry the grudge to a point where you're cutting your own nose of to spite your face! Oh well, another driver will get the benefit of finishing one position higher, and probably a good position. Better hope he doesn't get "burned" at Badlands at some point. He'll run out of places to race.

It sounds like is isn't going to matter much anyhow.  Jackson's grandstand apparently is not yet completed and they don't have everything up and running yet.  The track might be ready but I doubt he wants to host a 50k race with no one in the stands.

I drove by there on my way to IA on Thursday, looks like the bleacher is close but I can't speak for the rest of the facility.

Just to squash any rumors, Jackson Motorplex officials confirmed today that the facility is in great shape for Friday's Folkens Brothers Trucking Spring Nationals. Everything is a go for this weekend.

Does anyone know if Jackson is set up for camping yet?  I know last December they stated in their press release that they were going to have a campground in the SE corner of the facility.

Last year they thought they got screwed in some way at an NSL race and, after that, did not run with the NSL much unless it was at Huset's. How did they get screwed, you may ask.............you'd have to talk to Greg about that, or Dusty maybe.

If Zomer is there great, if not I doubt he will be missed. There will be plenty of talant in the field to make it a he'll of a race.

Sorry I just joined Bro.  Did everyone get on your case for your first couple posts?  Last I checked, a persons first post has to come at

some point right? I can assure you I am no troll   Just a sprint car fan like you

as far as the NSL.  last year at one of the NSL shows at Husets, there were some sketchup scoring calls late in the race under caution that resulted in incorrect lineup going back to green and obviously affected the outcome of the race. Two cars spun to avoid a wreck and both were stopped facing either the infield, or backwards. Both got their spots back. There were a number of racers that were visibly upset afterwards. Clausen, Madsen, brown, TMAC, and Zomer to name a few.  From what I heard, a couple drivers questioned CZ, and DC, and a couple questioned Tod.  Tod, instead of discussing the situation, freaked out, used some choice language, and told some guys that he didn't need them. Well, apparently BWW doesn't need him either. Don't get me wrong, I know people lose their tempers, but maybe there is still hard feelings.

Yea owning a a series and drinking in the stands and going into the pits afterwards,  doesn't always turn out so good.

The Motorplex campground is not ready at this time but the fairground camping is powered up and ready for the weekend.

What I heard was it was the race at Husets where Dobmeier was stopped on the track and then went into the pits and got his spot back? Not first hand but hearsay but makes sense I guess.
