Dragging out 2 classes of cars for over 4 hours is ridiculous.

Todd Fisher didn't have car counts like they've been getting either. I do agree with you in the sense that if they're going to run these Sunday night deals, they're going to have to tighten the program up and run it through more efficiently. They aren't going to get many more chances to do what they did last night. Way too much dicking around. Especially for a work night. I do think it will get better. The people running the place are all new at this so I'm sure they'll get it but they definitely do need to improve in that department.

perhaps an alarm clock can help this new crew...muddy ass track when I arrived gave way to blowing dust in hot laps but good racing. the main differences from Fisher days that I can see is excess screwing around and a nice catch fence on the back stretch.
disclaimer: I have driven a Kubota before and will be mowing with one next week... and I know for a fact they have faster gears that work with the PTO than what I witnessed last night.
not sure Sunday is the best day to be running a 2 division show at a leisurely pace
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

I agree with whats been said here . Yes , the program has to find a point where they get it done earlier for the sake of teams and fans. As said , its all new to track owner , staff , GM but just look at the support Susquehanna is getting , the facility how far it's come . Everytime I go there , I see something new , progress is made in handling the crowds with just about everything . Time trials and actual start time is where they lost it but it will improve , just give it time .

Don't forget the much better fields they're getting. That's a pretty big difference from the Fisher days as well. I think the biggest improvement they can make is to move the start times to 6:00. Starting at 7:00 on a Sunday night just doesn't work. No margin for error there at all. With a 6:00, even if shit goes wrong, there's still a pretty good chance you'll get people out of there at a decent hour. Those big crowds and 30+ car fields they're getting will shrink in a hurry if they don't get it under control.

A late night at the speedway beats an early night at home - any night!
Not sayin that they can't improve, but you guys got it good.
How far away from home were you - 20, 40 minutes - an hour??????
Even if they finished early, I wouldn't have been home until 4-5AM.
And watching the old guys win would have been worth it to this old guy.

I also live about 80 miles away and got home at 11:50pm. I didn't even stay for the 358 feature. Hopefully this will improve in the future.

I do agree that the show could have moved much faster. I love what they have done with the place so far,,really cleaned up nice and track is super fast, and new lights on backstrech are great. I'm just glad someone took the money and time to keep the place up and running so we do not loose another race track. Being the new owner of the track was a Driver, Car Owner, and a FAN, he knows what the fans want and I believe that he will do better as time goes on. With the last two 410 shows and great racing provided, I will continue to support the track for sure and wish them nothing but the best.
