Here are some notes about this Wednesday's World of Outlaw Race at Jacksonville Speedway.
Grandstands:
As of Saturday April 30th, roughly 150 general admission tickets remain for our grandstands. There are 3 ways to purchase while they remain: In-person at Barney's Pub in Jacksonville, online at www.ciltrack.com, or by phone by calling Ken Dobson at 217-371-3653. Tickets purchased by phone or internet can be picked-up at the Will Call table in front of the grandstand on race night.

We are limiting the number of tickets in our grandstand to roughly 1,200 just like we did 2 years ago to allow adequate room for those who purchased tickets. For this reason, adult tickets are $50, ages 11-18 $25, and kids 10 and under $10. We have a few VIP tickets available that include a pre-race party with food, drink, band, reserved seat and pit access. Contact Ken for details.
We are not limiting the number of pit passes and you will be able to purchase a pit pass on the day of the event. We have limited seating options in our pit area, but at our Outlaw event in 2014 we had about the same number of people in the pit as one of our regular specials and everyone seemed to find a place where they could watch the race.
Pits:
Pit passes are $50 for the public - the same as our grandstand ticket price. Why $50? We can't let people watch from the pits and enjoy the entire pit experience for less than those who purchaed grandstand tickets in advance making the event possible in the first place. Teams participating in this event that are not WoO Platinum teams will be allowed to purchase 4 pit passes at a reduced rate. If you plan to race with us in either a Sprint or Modified, please text Ken Dobson at 217-371-3653 so that we can have things ready for you at the pit shack and make check-in smoother and quicker.
Times:
3:00 - VIP area in Pavilion North of grandstands opens.
3:30 - Grandstands open for General Admission tickets.
4:00-6:30 - VIP Party with band, complimentary food and drink and meet and greet.
5:15 - Sprint Car driver's meeting
5:45 - DIRTcar Modified Driver's Meeting
6:00 - Hot laps/qualifying
6:50 - Opening ceremonies
7:00 - Racing
All of the above including pricing and procedures is almost identical to our event in 2014.
