This "Fire Red" Air Jordan 5 Low is dressed in a White, Fire Red, and Black color scheme. The
New Jordans 2016 features a White leather base upper that includes Fire Red accents on the inner interior, Jumpman logo on the tongue and back heel, as well as hitting the midsole. Black detailing and an icy translucent outsole finishes off the look. The Air Jordan 5 hit shelves in 1990, maintaining the mesh side panels from its predecessor, but taking another bold step with its look — including the first appearance of a translucent sole on a Jordan signature sneaker. Tinker Hatfield drew inspiration from World War II-era fighter planes when he implements the infamous "shark-teeth" look into its design along the midsole.
Air Jordans 2016 will release an Air Jordan 5 Low for Brazilian international soccer star Neymar later this year. This should come to no surprise as Jordan Brand has released some soccer inspired releases in the past for those that can recall the "Brazil" Air Jordan 6, and who remembers that unreleased Air Jordan 6 "First Championship" colorway. The Neymar x Air Jordan 5 Low features a full 3M reflective Cement Print upper that includes Infrared accents, Black detailing, the number 10 and 23 on the left and right side as a nod to both Neymar's and Jordan's numbers, completed with Neymar's Air Jordan logo on the insole and a translucent outsole.
The
Newest Jordans 2016 is another Olympic edition of the Air Jordan 5 silhouette that celebrates the 2016 Olympics in Rio. This Air Jordan 5 is dressed in an Obsidian, White, Metallic Red Bronze, and Bright Grape color scheme. The shoe features an Obsidian-based upper with White and Bronze contrasting accents, including a full Bronze tongue as a nod to the 2016 Olympics that sits atop an icy translucent outsole. Jordan Brand continues to update classic silhouettes with brand new colorways as it introduces a "ProStars" edition of the Air Jordan 5 for Summer 2015. Inspired by the early '90s television show — which starred the likes of Bo Jackson, Wayne Gretzky and His Airness himself as world-class athletes-turned-superheroes — the "ProStars" 5 adopts a white leather upper and contrasting black accents on the likes of the mesh netting, eyestay and lining as a speckled gradient-adorned midsole of grey, black, Poison Green and Infrared 23 hues highlights the look. Capped off with an icy outsole and the silhouette's signature 3M tongue (updated here with black speckling throughout),
