Nice reply Rupp!!
OKC..........I don't know ya, but rest assured that the fans of PA open wheel dirt racin' are appreciative of what we have. The fact that you think we should be that way says to me that we DO have some of the best racin' in the country in your eyes. The whole porch/road debate spun by Nelligan and others is a tired, worn out song. There's plenty of $$ to go around here in PA to support a family and a racing habit. There's really no need to go on the road to race with the circus........they come to town plenty of times each year and we take our share of their booty. The PA racing scene is built around families, and we are now watching 3rd and 4th generation racers in this sport.
Enjoy the Chili Bowl, it's one of the best races of the year. I sold my tix for this year........but I'll be back!!

Snore! How about ZEMCO hiring "dem bones" to drive? What a bloody waste! Six weeks and next driver! Maybe an Iowa or Ohio hot-shoe? Pass the matches! E-Mods!
|
In case you have forgotten, Zemco was already down that road with an Iowa hotshoe. One win in four months and back to racing weekly at Knoxville the next season.

bust out a dictionary for BRR? that's a contradiction in terms. There is a difference between those that have knowledge and are modest about it and those who feel they have to scream it in your face to make up for a lack of it.
The dictionary you must be referring to must be the dictionary for A-HOLES. It's an unwritten piece but exists in every part of the inhabited world. So hopefully BRR doesn't get to feeling too special.......he's just 1 of hundreds of millions.
By the way are you guys racing up in PA right now? no I didn't think so.
But the TULSA SHOOTOUT was awfully nice down here in OKLAHOMA
As I'm sure the Chili Bowl will be as well. I think I'm starting to convert ever so slowly to the non-winged sprints. Better racing.

I wouldn't be tooting the "Oklahoma racing" horn too much there. Racing is DEAD in Tulsa and most of Oklahoma and has been for close to a decade now.

Come on now Mark, the truth is what I speak in here and my facts are rarely if ever questioned and totally ignored or unaccepted by you. My final night in the VIP section was all about a drunk behind us who I should have punched and would have, had his son not been sitting next to him, totally embarassed. PA will always have the most passionate and unfortunately the most ignorant fans in sprint car racing, luckily the latter is in the minority. In case you forgot, the Outlaws swept that weekend, lol. I'm home where I belong and you were the first person I told about those plans, right in your living room. I retired and moved North while many of my buddies from up here have done the opposite, go figure, lol.
Mark in real life is a fun guy and great to hang with, the BRR guy is the evil twin that comes out in front of a computer screen, his Jekyl side. Ironically, many think I am of the same nature, makes me wonder if great minds think alike or fools seldom disagree, hmmmm. Take It Easy....

The father of this embarassed son (Nelligans own account which is wrong again) took the high road of not fighting considering he was surrounded by family and friends. Nelligan's claim of being drunk was in fact not the case because if it had been the fists would have been flying. Course Nelligan is gonna tell ya he would have won because he played hockey in Canada and they win every fight. Because this father took the high road and kept his mouth shut, peace to the VIP was restored. The BRR report is an exact account of actions from that night despite what Nelligan might tell ya. The VIP has always been and always will be a place for outside travelers to partake in the Posse lure. We could argue all day about Posse versus the Outlaws but the fact remains that only one group of local racers beats them on a consistent basis, PERIOD! This group has won in Florida many times (although not recently) and they've won at Knoxville too with a couple different drivers. Anybody can twist the facts so they look good in their favor, Nelligan does this all the time. But I must admit I do enjoy the friendly banter! Go Cris/Brian!

The Posse always wins at home. That's because every where else when a driver gets good enough to beat them on a consistant basis at their local track, they join the WOO and beat them so they can beat them off the porch. Local cars or local drivers win at home when the tour returns to those areas. Nobody recognizes it because they are now considered Outlaws and no longer count.

71fan speaks...and the facts are on the table...nelligan was given the heave ho on this very nigfht by hogrider after bieng read the riot act by a now retired and well respected Posse driver, who incidentally relocated to PA to race here for a living and remains here to this day.
drink up, its later than you think.

Dang, some things just won't die, lol.
Clint, your Dad WAS hammered, are you gonna deny that? I lost many fights in my hockey days but the most important thing was, I showed up for all of them. If you also deny that you weren't embarased by your Father's words that night then you have a lying problem worse than BRR's. Dropping F-bombs every few words in a crowd of all ages was just plain ignorant and you know that, I highly doubt that is the norm for him. Finally, he shut up because I pointed at him and said something I am not proud of either, but it worked, it had nothing to do with the high road and you know that!
Hogrider never heaved me from anywhere (but he could, lol, I don't even think he was there that night) and I chose to sit with you guys because BRR begged me to do that for a few years, it was a mistake. As for Van, there was never any riot act read or NEVER any words to that degree at all. The conversations with Van were the best I had in PA and if there was ever anyone who had a legitimate right to complain about what I said he was the one but chose not to. He never let being a cheerleader get in the way because he wasn't one, he was the real deal, not a BS artist like BRR. Trying to explain why the Posse fan was the way they are was like preaching to the choir. My biggest regret in not spending time in Central PA will be the time spent with him and the stories and things I learned, arghhh. Take It Easy....
PS The facts atre what they are, they don't need to be twisted. If the Posse cheerleader would accept them then there would be no debate at all, deal with it and move on. Friendly banter is ALL we've ever known Chris and it's been a lot of fun, maybe you could explain how it works to your resident clown BRR. You have forgot more about sprint car racing than he knows yet he is looked upon as your spokesman, how dumb is that? His spin and BS has enabled many in the rest of the country to be anti-Posse for no other reason than his stupidity, what a nice claim to fame, lol......

maybe you enjoy better luck revising history in other locations but we got your number here...they wanted rid of you and you know it because they said "get him out of here"!
