drugs 28? Not in awhile man they got me in way too much trouble. But sometimes I do get my hours all jacked depending on what work I have and where. You shouldn't come to presumptous conclusions that rapidly. For all you know I coulda been wakin up at that time. But I won't knock on ya too hard, people have a right to be full of shit and it's used to the fullest extent out there in Arizona obviously. I know it's hot out there but lay off the mescalin in that cacti. I only hope the Sooners lay off it when they invade Tempe to smash those Serfs.

The best drivers in the country are NOT from nor have they ever been, Sorry for the reality dose their Ram Rod. They have the best weakly drivers in the country, maybe and when they venture out we all know what happens, another terrible dose of reality for the blind cheerleaders of which you are obviously one.

My lifestyle is now and has been for years one that most from PA envy, especially you know who, lol. The Outlaws will continue to pound the Posse and I will continue to live a life I probably don't deserve while you know who wallows in loneliness, self pity and anger, c'est la vie. Take It Easy....

Perhaps you could complete your opening sentence next time. Your so called "dose of reality," is more like your very own overdose of denial.

When they leave the porlch and come out of hiding and beat the Outlaws I will give them credit, aka Stevie Smith and Bobby Allen two under appreciated great ones. They chose the highway and they could teach the so-called great ones back there a lot more than just driving. The G-Man was gonna be the next great one from PA and he is still missed on the road, he was special and getting better rapidly.

Hammer, I agree the LOCALS are what make sprint car racing as great a sport as it is. I was always a big fan of them and once dwelled on the porch as well. Fortunately I had the opportunity to see the world in sprint cars and the knowledge gained is why I say the things I do and stats back my thoughts up for the most part.

All the negative stuff comes from the same three points I made well over a decade ago and they haven't changed to this day. 1: Williams Grove is Americas's Slowest Half Mile (that regularly races sprint cars) 2: The Posse rarely beats the Outlaws anywhere but the Grove. 3: The Posse doesn't travel anymore and when they do it ain't pretty. These are undeniable facts and the problem lies with the cheerleaders that just don't get it. Cheer for your locals, when they win it's a BIG deal and they should be applauded but don't be dumb enough to tell me your guy is better than mine etc etc etc. To be the best you have to beat them and not just on your porch, that's the simple reason that most of the Posse drivers respect the Outlaws a whole lot more than the Posse fans, ask them! The Outlaws know how tough it is headin' into Central PA but turst me the track gets as much of the reason as the drivers do and it's always been that way with any conversation I've had with them and I've had many!

The drivers put on the show, respect them and cheer for them, boo if you have to, but leave it at that. Spend time with them, buy their shirts and learn, there's more to life than being a cheerleader. Take It Easy....

MSPN,

I get where you are coming from and I try real hard to understand you, but you always forget the most important part of these conversations:

The Posse do not HAVE to travel to make great money, have adoring fans, sell t shirts , etc. They can do it and be home for the rest of the time. And your comments about when they do travel, leave alot out as well. If one of them chose to travel on an regular basis, I can BET that they would give the WOO a run for their money. You cant just count 1 week in February as them 'travelin"

By the way, most of us in the US try to find jobs that arent too far from home, so we dont have to travel too far for work!. Its normal here to live, work and play in our own area.

By the way, all that time you were here selling your wares, were you a US citizen ? Paying taxes here? or were you doing creative financing or something else??

They do have to travel to be rated as highly as you folks rate them, plain and simple. It is very irritating to have somebody with little knowledge about the sprint car scene (BRR) rave on about the Posse this and the Posse that when the reality tells us what happens and it ain't pretty for your guys. Having said that, you still have the best locals and likely the best racing in the country on a total basis but I think Knoxville has now and always has had the single best weekly show, sorry.

The Hamilton team and the Apple team USED to travel a whole lot more and Al and Stevie were a great combination for years and should have had a Nationals win save some bad luck/weather. But the last decade saw the three big W of O type teams stay at home and demolish the locals on a regular basis and the philosophy of big fish, little pond never impressed me in anything in life, sorry.

If you want to be the best you move to the next level in any venture in life. Being the best bar band in palookaville PA is akin to what you seem to favor where I believe that if you're good, come out and show the world how good you are. Sports, music, racing (all types) prove and show us this daily and earn the respect of fans everywhere. I took my photo show on the road and was able to sell tens of thousands of photos over the years all the while having a good time and seeing racing in three countries, gratis. Not a bad gig, wouldn't you agree? You don't spend almost 18 years in a country illegally, at least I didn't. I had a great run down there and retired North unlike many of my friends from up here who have done the reverse. I still work and will as long as I am able, but my career days are over and I'm very content in what I accomplished, but more importantly I smile daily when I think of something sprint related and it happens all the time. This sport brought me nothing but good times and good friends and my only real regret is not being able to spend the time I once did with them. Sprint car people, from fans to racers to the people that work the sport are the best humans I've ever known and places like this have enabled me to share my thoughts on that life. Being honest hasn't always worked and bringing up stats has worked against me more than for me, but what the hey, it's all been fun. Take It Easy....

Haven't been on here much, but this is interesting reading for sure. Mike you said the key word Knoxville is the SINGLE best weekly show. You can't argue with leaving my house 3 nights a week and travaling 15 to 20 min. to watch good 410 sprint car racing. I must admit the single best sprint car driver I have seen is Steve Kinser in his hay day and I have seen many great ones. I was there when Doug Wolfgang took a local ride and demolished our drivers, I was there when Bobby Davis was just a kid who came to town, worked his butt off and cleaned our clocks week after week until they all but ran him out of town. I will have to argue the ever point because there was an era when central Pa. drew the transplants and they did travel, and they did win, a lot. Opp, Weld, Allen, May brothers, Ferkle was not based here but ran here regular enough. These racers migrated to Pa and some stayed, even to this day. Tells me there is a connection and that is good racing and a lot of it in one general area. May not be the best but I sure can't complain.

Snore! How about ZEMCO hiring "dem bones" to drive? What a bloody waste!
Six weeks and next driver! Maybe an Iowa or Ohio hot-shoe? Pass the matches! E-Mods!

"May not be the best but I sure can't complain." word. good car counts, 3 tracks running regular shows every week, fans in the stands, good racing, friends...yeah, maybe knoxville is a better weekly show..maybe not...but it is ONE track, ONE night a week. sorry kids..Pa. has it all, and more. bitch all you want...tell me i am wrong...but, in the end...i just dont freakin care what those from "parts unknown" think...and, with very few exceptions, have actually SEEN. "............ all these posts and we still don't know the answer to the orgional question that started this thread." no...BRR is not a lawyer...bust out a dictionary and read slower if his posts confuse you.

So, since you took your "show on the road" does that mean that your pictures are better than guys who choose to stay on the porch and work a 40hr week and shoot locally..... Like Al Consoli and Randy Jones?

MSPN does have 1 point. No one can ever say any of the PA drivers are better as a whole than WoO drivers. For them to be better they would have to be the WoO consistently OUTSIDE of PA. I'm tired of some of these PA fans thinkin they are better than other sprint car fans around the country. They are lucky they have the quality of racing they do and should be modest about it and appreciate it. By the way.......thats not directed to all PA racing fans.......just a few......and they know who they are.

bust out a dictionary for BRR? that's a contradiction in terms. There is a difference between those that have knowledge and are modest about it and those who feel they have to scream it in your face to make up for a lack of it.

The dictionary you must be referring to must be the dictionary for A-HOLES. It's an unwritten piece but exists in every part of the inhabited world. So hopefully BRR doesn't get to feeling too special.......he's just 1 of hundreds of millions.

By the way are you guys racing up in PA right now? no I didn't think so.

But the TULSA SHOOTOUT was awfully nice down here in OKLAHOMA

As I'm sure the Chili Bowl will be as well. I think I'm starting to convert ever so slowly to the non-winged sprints. Better racing.
