Yes, he is really rolling good right now. I'd be shocked if he don't get at least 1 of the 3 all-star races coming up. Marks is also really strong right now. My guess is 2 posse and 1 All Star will win this weekend, but wouldn't be shocked to see all 3 goto the Posse.

Marks is the fastest car from PA but he has the occasional maintenance issues. Macri has surpassed Deetrich and Rahmer to be the best truly local driver.

For those in that part of the country-
How would you rate the top 5 All-Stars drivers against the top 5 PA drivers right now?

I'll give the nod to the posse but its close. Marks and Sunshine would be the leaders. Marks, Macri, and DD can win on the road not sure how many more posse guys can on a consistant basis.

Everyone on here so far spelled Lance Dewease wrong.
1. Lance Dewease
2. Insert favorite name here.

Good question.
1 Sunshine
Peck
Marks top 3 are very close and can win on any night.
4 Macri
5 Dewease
6 Eliason
7 DD
8 Rahmer
9 Schurenburg
10 Wise
Hard to not include Logan Wagner, but would have to go track specific to include him on the list.

I like this list. I'd put Rahmer a little lower than Wise and Schurenburg though, he only had 1 top 15 in 4 All Star races entered at Grove and Port Royal last year. I'd throw Parker Price Miller in there about the 8/9 slot also as he's seeing tracks again and the team was really strong last year towards the latter part of the year. Going into the weekend I'd go:
1. Macri (Most likely to get 3 top 5's)
2. Marks (Grove Favorite)
3. Courtney (Port Favorite)
4 Peck
5. Lance
6/7. Eliason/Danny D.
8. Wise
9/10. Schurenburg/PPM
11/15. Rahmer/Wolfe/Smith/Balog/Henry
Don't sleep on Gio, but I think the 3 winners come from that top 7.
Just my opinion, don't hurt me please.

I don't know what his stats are at Knoxville but the last couple of years when hes come over to the best track in the world, he's looked impressive.

This list is on point. Macri hasn't proven much on the road, Marks can literally win anywhere. Peck is probably better on the Central PA tracks than he is anywhere. Sunshine and Marks are top 10 in the country.

I bet most 22 year old drivers would like say that they made the A main at the Knoxville Nationals and have won at as many tracls as he has.

i'm not saying he's at the level of macri...but i'm excited to see what briggs danner can do in a 410 winged car. it seems like they're planning to make a solid push in that division. he ran around 8th last night in his first career start. they originally planned to run bloomsburg and selinsgrove i believe. he has done very well at williams grove in the 360 non-wing car so i'd like to see him get a shot there some friday night.

He's done well everywhere in non-wing and has looked good so far with a wing(360 and 410). Who owns the 5G team now? Did Gallager's family keep it going or did Danner or someone else purchase the team?

Pretty even, probably an edge to the all-stars. It's too bad all 5 races weren't all-star sanctioned IMO. Not sure why Bridgeport wouldn't santion their show. I know Selinsgrove tried to get the all-stars for Sunday's 410 show but apparently the promoter at Port Royal(Steve O'Neal) has enough sway with the series to prevent it from happening.

I have wondered why Selinsgrove has not been able to get an All Star sanction, especially for their year end Jim Nace National Open race. It is refreshing listening to Blake Anderson announce a race. He is not afraid to mention other series or tracks. Case in point, he mentioned the race at Bridgeport several times throughout the broadcast last night. As a fan, I appreciated that. It is amazing how certain tracks or sanctioning bodies will never plug another nearby track or series. Probably the worst is on the DLM side. Have you ever watched or been to a LOLMS or WOOLMS race. Neither side will ever mention the other group as if the fans don't know about both. Kind of bad for the sport in my opinion, fans are not stupid. If you follow the sport you probably are a fan of both series and it can only help the sport overall if the tracks and sanctioning bodies work together.

I don't follow PA racing much unless the All Stars or WoO are racing there. Anywho, a big name must have really fell. Rahmer(Fred) has almost disappeared in these HoseHeads polls. At best he is 8th in one post and 11-15 in another. Tell me it ain't so Brandon (as in Go Brandon).

Unfortunately for us Posse fans, this will probably be the last year for Macri to be a Central Pa regular. His team has been building for the last few years to go on the road with either The All Stars or Outlaws. Objectively, I'd say with the way he has started out in 2022 he is darn near ready.

I tried to research this guy a bit but not much in the web to learn. I did see a picture with 6 cars in the shop so it would appear he is a bit more into it than a local weekend racer.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!
