With the All-Stars and WOO both having races on Sept.26 ,wondering who might come east to run the Kasey Kahne Dirt Classic?

Really don't forsee many outsiders coming to Lincoln. Dusty Zomer is suppose to be there in BWW#82. Good for the PA boys they get to put some big money in their pocket.

The CJB/Big Game Treestands #1 will be at the Grove and the Dirt Classic this week in addition to the National Open, of course. Can't wait. Haters, come on in.......

Sammy, Zomer and J-Haud are the big names coming in. Carl Bowser, AJ Flick and Adam Kekich and a couple other Western PA cars will probably come over since theyre offering more $$$. Would'nt be surprised to see Dave Blaney and Todd Schaffer show up. I say 55-60 cars show up.

Don't blame him one bit. Getting out on the road and getting laps at different places is a must for a young driver who aspires to make it to the top in sprint car racing or even beyond. I like the fact that Central PA has a few young guys who aren't afraid to get off the porch. It only makes them better.

Brock, I don't think is a fan of Lincoln , he does better on bigger tracks and getting out on the road is good for him , costly but good to get the experience . I don't think Todd will come in as Middleworth is not a fan of Lincoln either plus its out of chip territory . I know I'll get blasted for this but I think this race should be elsewhere , moving it around to other venues would be good for this race as well . I also think admission price is too high for this race , but then so is Grove Nationals.

fixxx...don't disagree, but $20,000??? That's a big payout for budget stressed drivers/owners. Plenty of other weekends he could have towed west.

What is the full pay out? I know it's up a bit from last year but last year the drop off was nuts.  20000 to win but I think it was 4000 for 2nd.  They did have 52 cars though, but if the drop is still that big I don't blame a driver who isn't great at Lincoln for bailing.

They did up it a bit. Falls off to $5,000 to win for 2nd and its $700 to start.

Forty percent of the purse to one team.  That's a big payday for one budget stressed team.  Maybe next year fifty percent.

More can be done with this race and hopefully it will be done . Drivers are great that are coming but can't go for admission price and the actual concept of this race , but I am glad for the drivers as they need these races but they need to increase purse through field .

The admission price is not out of line. Look at what the WOO charges at some tracks where the get less then 20 cars. I agree more money should go thru the field, 1000.00 to start for next year is a start.

Your right , look what they charge at some or  all tracks , drivers are worth the charge but not with WoO rules , which creates not very exciting racing but sometimes it does but not that often . With increase at Eldora they will do all they can to get a huge crowd and they will at the big E , because a lot of fans love that track and party atmosphere.

Here we go again. The crowd was good, the track surface was good and the racing was great. If you think "more" can be done, go do it. Put your money where your mouth is. I'd really like to know what more you think needs to be done with this race that Kasey Kahne isn't doing. Or will this be just another instance where you make a blanket statement such as "more can be done" and leave it at that without saying exactly what you'd do differently? You can't stand the WoO so this race should be right up your alley correct? It's an unsanctioned, big money show for the locals, is that not something you should be happy about?

He ran Woo Eldora Friday and missed the show and ran with IRA last night in WI picking up the win. Maybe they have scratched there PA visit plans.

No , I am not going to make blanket statements from now on to satisfy you and my other critics . Yes, they do a good job marketing this race. But I'd  like to see the race  move around to other venues , which I think would be good for Pa racing , bring fans to all tracks in Pa , let fans have better comforts with better seating , better restrooms, and so forth . I would increase the fan experience by different items, like money prizes not a drawing if you buy an advance tickets , let the tracks sell the tickets not online so the company or promoters can make early profits on you the fans.  Alot of promoters do this because they know how hungry fans are to see racing in ,not just high profile races . I have nothing against WoO , I just don't agree with some of there practices or rules . I have nothing but respect for all the drivers and like to see new creative ways so the owners or teams can get more of a profit back to help there expenses. And one way is through advance ticket sales.

Yes , I know I made typo mistakes but I hurried this to get a reply out to Mr. Fixxxer, I promise I give you more honest opinion or my ideas and maybe someone will find them credible or something new to generate interest or to reward you the fan or fans , AS YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOURSELVES FOR BEING GREAT FANS.
