The guy gets a break in the heat then draws #1 in the Fast Pass dash, and wins from the pole..Very good and solid crew..Says he flew commercial, but more than likely a Hendrick plane..Got to do same tomorrow for the big bucks then Sunday to make the next series in Playoffs..I don't really like to see him run away in the sprinter but I'd like to see him win the NASCAR title..

There are several pictures out there of him flying commercial. One that stands out is of him flying commercial the day after winning his King's Royal, crown in hand. It didn't look to me like he was in First Class either. I have seen one taken if him on an airport shuttle the day after winning the $ million NASCRAP All Star race on his way to run Ohio All Stars Speedweek. He does fly commercial.

How he flew there is relevant, how?

What a race, huh ?  A few guys made big moves thru the field but mostly it was a hammer down ride the cushion show. Someone probably liked that , can't say I did.

Was there too last night, all in all it was a great race! Sure, Kyle won, and he isnt my favorite but has done alot for sprint car racing! What's irritating is him winning all the time on dirt,  to a "typical" Crapcar fan they probably think racing a 900+HP sprint car is easy!? But, the track was fast last night,  hopefully a good race again tonight! Rahmer pasted alot of guys in the A Main, along with a few others.

Every single race (9 of them) won from the front row and top 5 started top 5, FACTS.  Do your research.  YAWWWWNNNNNN

It's directly proportional to how badly he wants to race a sprint car.

6 of the 9 races 1st and 2nd started 1st and 2nd

2 races 1st and 2nd started 1st and 3rd

1 race 1st and 2nd started 2nd and 7th and if Dietrich don't break in the heat, 1st and 2nd woulda started 1st and 2nd.

That is not better than any sprint car race I've enjoyed and it's worse than most every E-Mod race I've painfully watched, but you like speedboats and drag racing, so it makes sense you got wood from that "race"

Why can't people be happy to watch such a talent race?  I mean he races a dozen races in a sprint a year and wins ten of em.  Against guys who have raced fourty fifty times a year and have done it for twenty or thirty years.   Of those, How many win in Nascar, IMSA, Late Models Midgets and champ cars?

Sure all good rides but he's not racing against crap so you can't call it Cherry Picking.

Yesterday you said heat races mean nothing, now you are getting all foamy over Larson's run in his heat race to get him in position for the dash. Maybe the heats don't pay any money but they can help determine a racers night thats why its nice to have them be able to pass. I know you are not a racer but I think the real racers have a different view of heat races than you do. You are a one way hypocrite.

Larson earned those starting spots. Good qualifying time, top two in heats to get to the dash, and a "lucky" dash draw.  Hey the 69K fans use this excuse all the time, so why can't Larson?

Agreed.   In the interview he made the point that the last time he raced in sprint car was Knoxville and he basically said he had to become comfortable again with the speed.   Which says a lot given he has been running Cup on small and big tracks.  Relative speed is a real thing.  Going 135 on a 1/3 or half mile in sprint car is definitely different than 180 mph on 2 / 2+ mile track.

I bet you 1,000$ that the top 5 at every other outlaw A Main  the rest of this year, at least one car starts outside the top 5 (excluding tonights freight train).   But you like drag racing, so you'll be happy with it.

Just in case any Posse fans need another excuse to dump on good ole Dietrich, if his car hadn't died in the Heat, he MIGHT have kept Larson out of the Dash.... ;)

Magneto/ Ignition box?

I love watching Larson but he wins so much I root for ALL the underdogs now...meaning everyone else on the track

No hate, I love watching Larson

I just want to see somebody else win.

Just goofing on Dietrich too, not his fault the driveshaft broke, & thanks for the info. I was hoping he'd win that heat & keep Kyle out of the Dash

Just out of curiousity (and I'm not just asking you), why do you feel the need to rip NASCAR?  I get not liking it but if you don't like it, why do you even talk about it?  I don't like drag racing or many other kinds of racing but I've never felt the need to rip on them.  Don't care for baseball etiher but I just don't talk about it.  At the end of the day, due to guys like Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne and others NASCAR has helped the sprint car racing quite a bit.  It's not like sprint car racing is the perfect sport, look at all the arguing on this board.  Again, I'm not defending NASCAR or telling you that you should like it, I just don't understand why you'd waste energy ripping on it if you truly don't like it?  Also, just out of curiousity, what is a "typical Crapcar fan"?  And how do you know how they think?

Once again it proves how important the time trial, heat, and dash draw. The racing was close at the front and Sweet was hard charger. The cars are so equal and many talented teams.Kyle didnt win but he brought extra fans to cheer for the triple or not.The way things worked out with Hendrick everyone wins as it helped Nascar become a little more entertaining as it needed a boost.Tony said it best when he said Ford made a big mistake by not letting him hire Larson.

I think its because some nascar fans are irritatingly stupid and obnoxious. Arrogant ignorance is the worst quality someone can have and some who watch nascar regularly have that going for them.
