Been going to the races for 58 years and this was a first. Lance wins while running the last 2 and a half laps with broken front and top wing. To top it off, had Hodnett, Freddie, and DD nipping at his tail tank. Unbelievable!!!! Guess that’s why he’s in the HOF.

I actually thought he did a great job of blocking and they did a piss poor job of passing.....

One of the most amazing finishes I've ever seen! That was a first for me, never saw anyone hang on and win with a collapsed top wing for 2+ laps!

Wonder what the deal is with all the broken wings this week?

I hate to say it but I kind of agree - he was a mental mastermind there. Only chance the 27 had would have involved a pretty high risk move that could have destroyed a lot of equipment. Good on Lance, made for an entertaining finish.

How could it have been a great race. The video that I saw showed a black track and lots of slippin and slidein going on is how Lance got away with that. I wasn't there but that doesn't stop me from knowing more about it than those who were.

Wow, you really are an expert in this area - good for you. You can tell they have traction control based on how the car sounds in the turns and that is extremely impressive. Now for a dose of reality: Does Davey Brown know how to cheat - absolutely. He has been in this game for eight thousand years. Does that mean he cheats - hell no. At Port they found them with an illegal compound on a left front tire - a left front tire, are you kidding me. If they were going to cheat that do you really believe it would be the left front tire???? The compound is stamped on every tire, so if you were going to cheat I hardly think you would do it with something so blatant as that. They were caught and punished accordingly. It has been stated before, Kreitz makes his living selling parts. If he is branded a cheater, his business goes in the toilet. I really do not believe in any circumstance that he would take that chance. How many times has this car gone through tech? World of Outlaws, All Stars, William Grove, Baps, Port Royal, Lincoln, Hagerstown but the guy writing a post on the internet knows that it is illegal because he can hear it in the turns????
It really is mind boggling that some people can't sit back and watch something this great and enjoy it. Do you have to be his fan - hell no. But that does not make him a cheater because he beats your favorite team? It must take an extremely uneducated person to realize the extertise that team has with Donnie, Davey and Lance have and what they can do with a car on any given night. They know every track and track surface like the back of their hands. Please name me one driver that hasn't had at least moderate success with Davey Brown as his crew crew? People want to complain but when this team eventually retires, they will look around and wonder where all the great teams have gone. Keep complaining and coming up with conspiracy theories, one day when you realize what a great thing we have in Central Pa, it will be gone.

Hahahahahahaha!!! The guy who whines and cries then boycotts Port because it's a slip n slide, raves about Williams Grove's slipe n slide. Not to mention you talk about front row winners. Hmmmm, Dewease and Hodnett start 1-2 and guess what, finish 1-2. Shocker!! Hahahahahaha, you just proved everyone's point that you have an agenda when it comes to Port Royal. Man, Strawser, you are something else. Can't wait for Port tonight and bonus..........NO BSTRAWSER ANYWHERE!!!!!!

Some of you crack me up. As a fan, I don't care what driver you were rooting for, I don't care who started where, I don't care that the track was slick and dusty......it was just a great race that you should remember for a LONG time. One of my all time favorites, after attending races at Williams Grove for over 35 years. If that finish did not leave you with a great impression on how great sprint car racing can be at times, you need to find a different sport.

smartest move of the race was Hodnett not pushing the issue at the end which would have lead to a serious accident!!

Williams Grove's surface last night was nothing like Port's typical surface. They left a really nice curb roll up and it was slick underneath. Port usually hammers the cushion to death.

The Grove was not a slip and slide. Started out a little rough and choppy but smoothed out with a nice cushion.

Exactly. Last night's surface was the perfect surface for a sprint car race. Well done Williams Grove

Anybody catch that feature at Port last night? Best race I've seen this year. Multiple passes for position in the top 5 only to have guys pass them back. Lance takes the lead late, but Dietrich drives back past him while riding the rim. Zearfoss, Macri, Hodnett, Ryan Smith all going hard, but clean. 30 laps, nonstop....
Late models were great too. Side by side racing for multiple laps.
Buuut, quick time for the sprints was only 16.8 and the guys were turning 19 and 20 second laps in the feature, so the entire night sucked.

Was concerned early when cars were kicking up dust in TT’s, but turned out to be a great A main. Top 6 really going at it. Lance started P3, drop kicked to P6 to the lead only to finish P3. DD hugging the rail, Smith making time on the bottom. Agree, very entertaining race. Doesn’t get much better, but then I’m sure there might be some who disagree.

Please tell us, oh Great One, how many were using traction control and doped tires last night.....or is that theory only valid if the 69k actually wins? Lol
