Best race of the week just happened at Selinsgrove. Lucas and Dietrich ran neck and neck for the last 10 or 12 laps driving their asses off at extremely high speeds and Lucas eventually got out in front and took the win. Heimbach was right there in 3rd ready to pounce as well. Greg Hodnett edged Dietrich by only 2 points for the Speedweek title. If Dietrich had won, he'd have been the champion. What a week. Thanks to all the tracks for their hardwork and teams who showed up and gave us a show each night. Can't wait until next year.

I hated the track but it was a good race despite the shitty conditions. I left happy.

I was so disgusted at Port Royal Saturday night during warmups and heat races. At that moment I was mad that I spent $22 instead of staying home and saving my money. I mean how can a track be black in warmups. I'm not an expert but that's really missing the track prep in my opinion. Thank goodness for a nonstop feature and lapped traffic and our incredible PA drivers and teams for making it an entertaining race. Port did one thing right, and that was they worked water into the top side of the track during intermission to save the night.

I’m not a Professional track preparation expert like some other people are LOL. But, the biggest issue I see at Port is not a lack of water, but the water being put on the surface of the track and not worked down into it properly. That being said, there were two entirely different types of surfaces this past week and two excellent races.

Totally agree. Sometimes a good race breaks out even if the track is junk and thankfully, that's what happened Saturday. Good thing it went nonstop because I don't think it would've been good at all if not for lapped traffic. That said, I've seen a lot of garbage track surfaces over the years and usually it doesn't happen that way. We got lucky Saturday.

Sorry about that. My apologies. Hey Strawser, Port is the bestest track ever! There, that should get the hornets nest stirred up again. LOL.
