Macedo's car was driving him around the track, he was just hanging on!  Good thing there was a fence there or Macedo woulda ended up a county over!!!

You hit the nail on the head. One thing I'm seeing a lot of these days, are unreal expectations. So many fans seem to think that every race should be a barn burner and that never was, nor will it ever be possible.

Your comment focuses on the end result. This thread was started and there were many comments made during hot laps. Those comments had nothing to do with the end result. The track circumstances were drawing the commentary, not the racing itself.

I think the guy that started the thread was a bit over the top using the word "ashamed". I understand why that would cause someone to be argumentative and defensive.  That said, no seems to want to address what I see is the biggest problem...

Seriously now, how can anyone defend a set up that encourages guys to be putting their right read tire into the wall? I don't understand that at all. I understand it wasn't intentional, but conditions like that just can't be acceptable.

I agree they do not do the track prep so why do so many give them all the credit for trying a dirt track in Nashville. The poor promoter who risked it all gets zero credit. And water control is pretty touchy considering there was a water proof layer a few inches under the surface.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!
