Seriously, if I intended to drive a Sprint Car at my age and was motivated to do it I'm sure that I could. Nevertheless, the grind of the hot weather (I'm from Minnesota so I'm wired that way), getting banged around in flips and the grind of the road would suck more than it would have 40 years ago. Washed up is a pretty harsh term, it's more of a mental aversion to work and my close proximity to retirement after starting on the farm at 14. With most people it's more about an opportunity to enjoy doing things that aren't as intense as our working careers for a few years while we still can after having worked our whole adult life. Evidently that isn't one of Sam's priorities.

Well the difference between us & Sammy is that racing is what he's done his whole life, he IS a sprint car river, probably feels empty without it... its what he's all about
I can't really play basketball any more, but still like to shoot hoops... if I couldn't drill that 18 footer, my self esteem would be gone

Religion isn't pounded out.. World would be a better place if peoole would have more Jesus in them and follow his teachings for sure. Don't deny Jesus then go pray for his help when someone is injured or severely hurt or for any other reasons.

well, one reason is that people think they will get to heaven based on their faith, not on their actions, or don't do the right thing cause it will make the world a better place....

My response to all of this is quite simple. #1..... no one has the right to determine who is or who isn't a believer....Unless of course a person can show that they have been granted that power. #2....this forum has no room for religious debate, or political debate. #3....I don't care for certain language either, but I am not sin free, so who am I to judge....something that you may also need to ask yourself, seeing as how we are all sinners......
