Power, give me more power.  I don't disagree with what there doing in Sweden .  Be nice if the national media would touch on that. They are the source of  all are problems. 

Pretty simple reason.  Dependent people are easy to control and an easy vote in the next election.  

Same reason they try to create fear and panic.  You become easily controlled if you live in fear.  That's why people like you and egras, and nick14 think the way you do.  Fearful and easily manipulated.  You need somebody to think for you.  Wait on some so called "expert" to think for you.  No original thoughts.  

Now we begin to see the people that can think for themselves starting to open things up without permission from the idiot governor and his girlfriend, Dr. It.

Uhh excuse me, have we met before? Do I know you? Have we ever crossed paths in anyway to where you know how I live my life? Answer to all 3 would be no, no, and no. So let me set the record straight for you.

I do not live in fear of anything really. Not government take over, government in general, marshal law, my "rights" being taken, intruders, diseases, virus', death, the big guy at the gym with the tear drop tatoo, etc. I find it funny that just because people decide to have different opinions and have different ways of running their lives that they are suddenly manipulated and afraid of something. Just because a person looks both ways before they cross the street doesn't mean that they are necessarily afraid of being hit by a car, its just not at the top of their list of things to happen. I am not running around in fear over this thing, I am just scientifically literate which apparently is a bad thing these days because if you know how things work it suddenly means you are manipulated. I actually thought it was the opposite way but whatever.

Oh and I do not wait for a so called "expert" as you call to tell me what to do. I washed my hands and covered my mouth long before this started. All I see is a bunch  of people throwing a little hissy fit because they cannot go to a bar, or a restuarant, or a race track that if the same race happened any year prior to this they probably would not have gone to anyway. Its like a bunch a little boys crying because a parent took a toy away from them so they start blaming others, cry me a damn river.

Personally I think some of you little conspiracy theorist who have a problem with people having different opinions and thinking scientifically are getting a little too butthurt about this. Yeah it's cute that you think because those of us who are able to adapt and not take things so personally are manipulated, you keep thinking that if it makes delicate little feelings feel better that you couldn't see a race this past weekend. This past weekend was supposed to be Eldora's WoO/USAC show which I look forward to every year. It was postponed a few weeks ago. I didn't throw a fit and feel my life was being intruded upon and lock myself into my underground bunker waiting for instructions. I went, well that sucks, guess I'll go fishing and golfing that weekend which I did. I was not afraid to do so nor did I ask any government offical if I could do so. And no one dictator has ever ran this country as we have a system of checks and balances with the 3 branches of government that we had, if people paid attention in 3rd grade when we are taught that there wouldn't be such fear. What we do have is when someone from the party opposite of ones ideology is elected and does policy against ones ideology, then that one person thinks the politican is a dictator when they are not. They are just not doing what you want them to do but what others want them to do. And not everyone thinks the same way in this country and it is not because they are manipulated, it is because they are allowed to and you cannot handle it. Cry me a river you little crybabies.

If he or she or you do not want the lectures or the reply then don't type the message in the first place. Communication 101, it was an easy A or should be for some. Also, someone calls an individual fearful and manipulated would be name calling so I guess its ok for one to do it but because the others do not share your same thoughts its not ok in their case. How about this, you and your buddies want to live your life the way you want to live it then fine live it, don't give 2 flying monkey shits how you do it. I will live my life how I want to, go where ever I want to, think how I want to, vote how I want to, eat how I want to, and everyone else on here can do the same that suits them. If you or anyone else wants to view anyone as manipulated or afraid because we do not mesh with your view, that's cute and you are entitled to your wrong opinon, but if you do not want to hear from those of us who do not share your beliefs then don't initiate conversation. Its called mind over matter, I don't mind any of you, because you don't matter.

Communication 101.  A name is a noun.  Fearful and manipulated are adjectives so therefore that is not name calling.  Idiot is name calling but I dont think I directed that at you.  You are telling us to shut up, not be crybabies, and listen to the idiot.  Science is telling us otherwise.  We are not telling you that you cant stay home and wear your mask but you are telling us we have to because that is what you (and the governor and his scared followers) believe.  Quite a difference.

Actually manipulated is a verb and you can use whatever you want in name calling. The basis of name calling is intending to insult someone which calling someone fearful, manipulated, crybaby, and even an idiot is intended to do. Doesn't matter the word used.

I am not staying home and wearing a mask although just because I have a different opinion than yours you like having that image. I am not telling you to wear a mask or stay at home or anything. I really do not care what you do whether its inject yourself with lysol, smoke crack, shoot heroine, shake hands with everyone, not wash your hands, sneeze into the air, cough into the air, I do not care at all because once again you do not matter. You do not have any impact on my life, most likely will not be in my house, and definately do not work with me. You're in PA, I'm in Ohio, you have a Democratic Governor, I have a GOP Republican Governor and they basically have the same policies towards this. Again, its not about politics like some continue to make it about because they cannot have an overpriced beer at a bar or an overpriced taco at a resturant. If the policy was flip flopped the other way there would be just as many people pissed off about that the only difference would be is what side is blamming the politican. And if you are not complaining about this I am sure you would be complaining about something else that somebody else wronged you in life. Some people need to go eat a snickers bar.

First of all, the Moderators asked us to stop arguing politics. But BStrawser keeps bringing up "impeach the idiot Governor", & then has the nerve to claim thats not a political statement. Then you guys jump on the bandwagon. I'd be perfectly happy to focus on sprint cars, but I'm not gonna let these comments go unanswered.

I like your post for the most part. I believe 3 outa 3 of the people you mentioned do not live in PA. The "Dr. It" about made spit out some beer.

Good posts Nick. I must be grouped in with you an Egras as I tend to agree with your posts and I like you said Dewine and Wolfe are going about this pretty much the same way with a few more stores being open in Ohio then Pa.  Oh by the way I am from Pa.

It certainly seems like Selinsgrove got the short end of the stick on the first run, and quite possibly did for the second run, however, at any point did they have explicit permission from the state governor's office for the SECOND attempt at this race? I am not saying they didn't - just asking. 

What I don't understand was how Roaring Knob, in the western part of the state, was able to hold a DLM race last weekend (apparently with fans in the stands) and suffer no repercussions?
