i believe the nascar k&n race paid 20k to win opposed to knoxville paying 150k
to me its like getting an invitation to a wedding and only showing up at the reception without a gift to get your steak and crab cake to go....hey it was my invitation, i earned it...still makes me look like a jerk

How many guys out there that are dirt racing, regardless of if we're talking about sprints, late models, modifieds, midgets, etc wouldn't jump at the opportunity to run NASCAR? It's not like they prefer the racing but think about the long term financial goals you may have in life. If you were able to increase your chances to be wealthy and set yourself up forever you'd do it to. And guys like Stewart, Kahne and Larson, and I think Rico would be in the same boat, have really given back to the dirt racing community in very big and meaningful ways.
JMO but I see no reason to witch hunt the kid, he's one heck of a driver and he has the perfect personality for any PR person.
