I really like the way the purse is distributed. I've always wondered what kind of a field of cars you would have for a 410 race if it paid $2K to win, $1K to start.

Some More info about this weekend...
Saturday and Sunday will be two separate shows other than the top 4 finishers in Saturday's "A" Main automatically being locked into Sunday's Main Event.
Saturday- It will be IMCA lineup procedures Draw/Redraw. Top 4 finishers in the "A" will be locked into the feature on Sunday. The Main Event will be 25 Laps.
Sunday- Drivers will draw for thier starting position in their heat race, the winner of each heat will redraw along with the top 4 finishers from Saturday for the "A" Main Event. There will be D, C, and B features and so on, to determine if you qualify for the "A" Main Event. 20 cars will make the "A" Main Event. The Main Event will be 30 Laps.
Tech will be done on Friday from 5PM to 10PM, Saturday from Noon-5:30PM, and on Sunday you will need to be teched before you participate.
Breakfast is served on both Saturday and Sunday morning from 9AM to 10:30AM at the pit concession.
There will be a Driver Only Luncheon on Sunday from 3-4PM under the high rise. You will meet and greet with fans that donated to the Fan Fund, and recieve your driver gift bags full of contigencys.
There will be a lot of contingency prizes given away throughout the night. We will announce your names on the PA system and write what you won on one of the line up boards. Pay Attention, because there is some pretty big stuff being given away.
Pit Gate opens at 5 on Friday, 4 on Saturday, and 3 on Sunday. Pit Pass on Friday is $10, On Saturday is $25, and on Sunday is $25.
I know we are all getting excited for this show! Can't wait to see everyone at Eagle Raceway "America's Home Track"!

Tech has been cutoff for today since practice is beginning shortly. Tech will begin bright and early again at 9AM for thoughs who have not went through tech.

Kyle McCutcheon from Almagordo, NM wins the 2013 IMCA Racesaver Supernationals over Doug Lovegrove......Jason Martin, now resdiing in Lincoln, Nebraska, raced from the rear of the field to a close third after going to the work area on lap one when the Saturday prelim night's winner Mike Boston took a nasty tumble in turn one, thankfully Boston was able to walkl away under his own power. Gregg Bolte of Fremont Nebraska came home fourth, and defending IMCA National Champion Jason Howell of Azle, Texas rounded out the top five.......55 cars competed in the innaugural event (53-Sat, 51-Sun) Complete stories and results should be found on the track's website soon............SC

Im really glad I went last night! I think Eagle has a real chance to make this The event for 305's and if Eagle continues to put the work in that they put into it this year its going to be a cool/fun deal
I could see 75 cars there next year and if the 305's could get under one set of rules that would be a big boost.

I would first like to thank all of the drivers who participated in the IMCA 1/3 Mile Sprint Supernationals. This group of drivers was by far the best group of sprint drivers the current staff of Eagle Raceway has ever worked with. You should be proud of yourselves! Just minutes after the conclusion of the Sunday Night show, the calls, texts, emails, etc… started rolling in with praise of how great of a show and time your fans had throughout the race weekend. I must say personally throughout the racing there were many times I caught myself saying “WOW, did you see that?!”
If you didn’t notice, French Grimes and I both believe in the need for tech. Without a doubt I think the best racers competed in Sunday’s ‘A’ feature and were all racing with similar power and equipment. (Wasn’t it nice to know you weren’t competing against illegal equipment or the almighty cubic dollar all weekend?) Don’t get me wrong… you can spend whatever you want… but, cubic money didn’t get you into the A Feature like other series and classes of cars. THANKS FRENCH GRIMES FOR THE RACESAVER SPRINT CAR RULES!
Just wanted to be sure you the participants know how much you are appreciated. I hope you had a great time and I can’t wait for next year’s Labor Day weekend event again! – The 1/3 Mile IMCA Sprint Supernationals!
