At our Wednesday evening meeting I was told we were at 37, and I see at least 10 of our regulars aren't on the list yet.

Also, we are working on some pretty big, exciting contingency prizes for the drivers! I will post what these are as we get them for sure! Also, this event will be televised on Time Warner Cable's On Demand.

We are also still accepting donations for the Fan's Fund. You can donate in person at the track or by calling the office at (402) 238-3766. A $50 donation gets you free reserved seating for Saturday night and reserved seating for Sunday night (you have to purchase a ticket for Sunday). Plus, you will be invited to the driver's lunch on Sunday and get a special commemorative gift available only to donators.

Please help out the drivers who put the show on for us.

French Grimes is making the long trip to the 1/3 Mile IMCA Sprint Super Nationals! He will be the head of tech all 3 nights, adding credibility to the event. He will also be bringing his fuel and Mag testing equipment to help with problems. There will be parts, tires, and fuel on sight.

47 and counting........last week's winner Jason Martin not entered as of yet and said he's coming.......a pretty good field for a first year event....hoping to see near 60.......should be a great show.........last week the track record was lowered by Gene Ackland to a 13.226 ( about 1.4 seconds slower than the old ASCS 360 mark of 11.891)........looking foward to seeing  cars from other Racesaver regions coming in............and THEN!!!!!! the following Sunday, Sept 8th,  the annual Nebraska Cup featuring ASCS Midwest/NCRA/Ne360 sprints  and SLMR late models.......should be two weeks of awesome racing.........SC
