Shawn has helped out a lot of racers here in TX, he fields a LOT of cars, from sprints to micros. As far as Cowtown goes, I haven't seen any proof to support the accusation. I was at KSP a couple of weeks ago and there is a lot of work going on at Cowtown, so not all is lost.

The Cowtown Speedway Lights and PA system are now at I-44 Speedway in Oklahoma. All the signs on the back stretch have been taken down.
It really dosen't matter, it's just a matter of time before all the tracks in Kennedale are shut down. I think the drag strip has to be closed by 2015.....
Hawker, I will agree to disagree with you on this topic. But my rumor sources I have are very, very good...

Hawker, the only work going on at Cowtown is a HUGE water line being put
smack-dab thru the spectator parking lot.
No work on the track or the facility.
Cowtown is done ! History!!!!

It's not about the man himself as much as his driving ability that was being discussed. If & when it becomes about the man himself then let it fly if you are so inclined.
