I was talking with a micro sprint track owner and his supporting 4 cylinder class actually brought more money into coffers than the micro sprints and legends cars, yes, with all the families going to the stands because Daddy and all the cousins go too,to see what their household A.J. is doing against real racers, they eat the hell outta hot dogs and sodas, ice cream and french fries,so thats even more $$$$.

That is exactly what I mean by back gate promoting. I believe the health of short track racing depends on getting NEW fans out to the track to be entertained that are not paying out their cash only because they know someone. Focus on entertainment to draw new cash instead of trying to wring as much as you can out of the same group. Focus on the macro, not the micro-economy.
But I digress and this has nothing to do with HBO vs Turn2. (or does it....am I being hypocritical by hating on IMCA but liking Turn2? maybe)
