If you paid $50, then you obviously think it is worth that much. If you don't, then don't buy a ticket.

BIGFISH -

That wasn't me over at the ABC motorsports site.

I will apologize in a second to the Tucson track if the lady I purchased the tickets from mis-spoke and I have passed on bad information. But I asked her at least twice if that was the ticket price and if all the tickets were that price. She said yes. And she stressed that each grandstand ticket included a pit pass.

Once again, I hope she mis-spoke.

Perhaps I will call again today to confirm, but it was pretty clear when I hung up the phone that my credit card was being charged $150 for 3 tickets.

I wish the gas would get that low here in NorCal. The Copper is going to be a great race. I can't wait to get there.

Advance tickets for Riverside Spdwy. are $30.00, same at I-55.

I looked when it was first posted and I did not see or it was not there yet. I also question him about the same post, word for word on another forum that he denied making.http://www.abcmotorsports.com/index.htm It smelled funny,I was going to call today. I honestly don't think they had the prices listed when it was first posted...good job. Kenny

(4 hrs later) I was in a hurry early this morning when I saw your post, going in early so I can take off Fri and head to Manzy. I'm sure all that info was not there when that was posted Sat, I was going to email them and ask but I could not find it,I was all over that site. When I saw the same post on ABC's forum and the reaction to it,well it just smelled wrong.

Let's see if he gets back to us. Why would sombody do that? I don't get it!

As I said earlier, I would apologize if I put USA Race Park in a bad light.

But when I purchased my tickets, the prices were not listed on their website, and the lady who took my order, asked me where I wanted to sit, and I told her as high as possible. If I had known I could have sat 2 rows lower for $10 less and no pit pass, I would have done that in a second.

I told her that I didn't want a pit pass. That should have been a trigger for her to tell me that I could sit 2 rows lower and not have to purchase one. She either wasn't informed or just didn't understand what I was asking for. I will give her the benefit of the doubt and go with the latter.

Again, I had nothing to do with posting anything on the ABC Motorsports site. I was not trying to disparage the Tucson track or be some a$$hole who posts on message boards to stir people up. I was just wondering if WoO ticket prices across the US had gone up this much. Obviously, they've stayed similar to previous years.

So I apologize to USA Race Park, the WoO, the lady who took my order, and anyone else who thought I was trying to pass on ticket price misinformation.

When the Outlaws ran at Tucson last year, I got the jump on buying my tickets and thought I played it real smart. I bought 4 seats on the top row on the center of one of the aisles. (Actually, 3 seats were at the top of the steps leading to the rows, and the 4th was seat 1 of that section; all still top row).

The top 2 rows sold for $40 a ticket and included a wrist band for access to the pits. I thought I'd really used the old noodle in getting some prime seats. It turned out to be the biggest mistake I've ever made when selecting reserved seats.

My choice of seats got us stuck behind about 20 Tucson residents who stood up the whole race. They seemed to know everyone West of the Atlantic Ocean, and I can assure you that each and everyone of those friends made sure that they came to visit with them just as they were throwing the green flags to start the heats and mains. They would all stand in the aisle watching and commenting to their buddies how great the view was. I just wish I would have had the chance to witness some of the racing. I probably would have agreed with them.
