I found sprint cars after the Posse became the Outlaws rival. I assume much of these same discussions took place then. Regardless of the brand on the evening I know I will be happy watching sprints cars race because somebody will win and it won't matter who, but I'll be happy!

I could care less whether the winner comes from HL or the WoO's. Just so they put on a good race is all I care about. It sucks that the WoO has such control over their cars. That is one thing I have have never liked about the WoO's. These guys race for a living and should be able to race whenever and where ever they want to race. As for Chris Stepen announcing the modified and late models at tracks that the sprint cars run. I like that. He is and always has been a very good announcer. I don't have to turn the volume down when he announces.

Are you going to drive down to either of those High Limit races? One is 350 miles and the other is 399 but you're a half hour south so a bit closer. I can't do those drives without a motel. Probably a $300 weekend minimum after gas, motel and all. At that point the TV in the man cave makes more sense.

Stan, I have a hard time driving the 25 miles to Cedar Lake these days. My days of traveling are pretty much done with. You have probably notice that the push truck hasn't been to any races for the last 2 years.

I have Floracing and Dirtvision and have only been to a handful of races since then. Yeah, I got cataracts removed and distance lenses as part of the laser surgery. Now I have 20/20 night vision just in time to not have the energy. I've got metal in my neck and a type of lymphoma that sits in the background sucking up my energy. Our neighbor with the 74n is moving up to 410's and has two new chassis and 410 motors. I'll probably chase them to Ogilvie and a few others.
By the way, I think Chris is a great announcer but what I meant is that I don't watch the Mods. I only did that when I was writing and they wanted some variety. Now that I'm on my own dime I just do what I like. Mortifieds like your driver Rager used to say.
