Lots of tore up equipment tonight. Probably not a good combination of new clay and all the rain the last week but credit to Mansfield for working all night to make it decent by the features.
I see that the 69K is heading home for “damage too extensive to fix at the track” per Kreitz on Twitter.

This a great event but it's too bad they can't have it at a track that isn't a cornfield. Was the same way last year. Hopefully a smoother, more raceable track tonight.

A track that was a corn field??? Explain to me how the most recent crop affects track prep when it's been 20 years since that crop was planted and the clay was hauled in by truck and placed on pavement.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Postponed till a later date. Will be interested to see what they pick. Saturday’s are pretty much out the window until deep into the fall as the all stars have scheduled races every Saturday except Kings Royal and Knoxville weekends.,

Mansfield actually dug up all the asphalt. It is all dirt all the way down.

Who knows? Weather forecast was clear. If they are against running on Sundays that pretty much eliminates any viable dates until October
