I’d say about 15 or so is accurate: Rico, Brown, Dewease, Eliason, Henry, Kofoid, Madsen, McMahon, PPM, Reutzal, Saldana, Scelzi, Shaffer, Smith, Swindell, Wolfe, Zearfoss.
Theres also a slew of cars that of the right thing breaks their way or hit the right set up they could contend for a top 5 or even win

I've really been impressed with Buddy Kofoid the last few weeks. (Barely heard of him prior to that) but man, you guys have him lumped into a pretty elite group of racers there. (And I mean no disrespect to buddy). I think it's pretty cool he's made that much of an impact already.

Went to the Mansfield website. Not too much info there. Did they get their spring track renos done as the story foretells? What exactly is the Dirt Million?
And any idea why Kasey Kahne woildnt send a car?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

There will be only 60 I’d imagine show up as the 7k team folded up, unless Conley puts something together for this race

Just saw on Twitter that Cale Conley is back in the family 3c in time for Mansfield.

Oh my god, shut the hell up. We should be praising promotors like Cody. There's two $5k-to-win features Thursday, two $5k-to-win features Friday, and a feature Saturday that pays $2k-to-start and you're still finding a reason to bitch about it. The format is insanely fair as well. Every time you're on the track you can better yourself for Saturday night. Last year's SCWC was probably the best sprint car race of the year. The fact 2nd place "only" paid $20k made it that much more exciting.
|
Spot on !!! As of now this race is the next best thing to the Nats !! We'll just have to wait to see how the Kings Royal plays out.
But, I'm not so sure Aaron Reutzel was that excited about the $20K. After missing the $100K from not being able to stick that giant banzai slider from hell !! How many times do you think he ran that move through his head ? Let alone those last 2 laps. With an $80K difference from second, I'm betting a lot ..... Next to Johnson and Schatz battle at the 2016 Nats, those were the best last 2 laps of racing I've ever seen ...!!

I would agree, the Mansfield web site isnt exactly the best, but all the information, including full format and purse, can be found at...

About the Dirt Million, like the SCWC, this will be the second year for it. Dirt Million Information can be found at...

As I'm sure you knew, the initial results from the Outlaws did not show the payout, as they usually do. But I just checked, and they show now. It was a different purse from the 2 10k to win purses I've seen, the regular 1 day 10k to win purse, or the 2 day at the same track that are 10k to win purses. Here is it...

That’s a weird purse. They kept some elements of the single day purse, some from the 2 day at the same track purse and upped the starting purse and winners share.

lol...Yeah, it is wierd. Total is 6300 more than a reg single day 10k to win show, 5k more for the winner, 2nd and 15th the same, 3rd to 14th lower, 16th to 24th higer.
I assume the Friday purse will be this purse for Fri, as it's advertised at 15k to win and 1k to start. Interesting to see what the Sat purse will be with 25k to win and 1.5k to start.

just another one of these kids we've been watching race sprint cars from age 14 here in Ca. Impressed everyone with his win at the Johnny Key Classic last year i think it was, either way, this kid will continue to impress & win some big races. last we spoke to him, he has indy car aspirations...he likes to go fast

Saw a web article about him winning 6 straight in New Zealand over the winter.. 6 out of 7 , but he had engine troubles for the 1st night. May have swept 7 for 7. Good way to impress fans bad way to make friends with 40 yr olds who have never won like that in 20 yrs.

I;m excited to see Logan Wagner and the Zemco team making the trip. A lot of momentum with those guys right now and if he can time well and get itno the feature near the front, he's as good as anybody at ripping the lip on a fast track

With the amount of rain that fell there was no way, they would’ve been racing till 3 in the morning if they tried to run it tonight and the track said they have a midnight curfew.

Though I love the place and wish Cody much success, after the 3am show a few years ago, I'm not suprised they got a curfew put on them!
You know it was a long show when you pull into your driveway with the sun coming up!

Also the first night of the SCWC last year ran well after midnight due to a rain delay if I remember correctly. Its way better to abide by the local governments regulations and have a good relationship than break them constantly and make an enemy. Also gotta remember it was a work night, not a weekend.
