Pay attention now.........I didn't "complain" about the increase.......I'm of the opinion that to increase car counts and keep teams from falling to the wayside, and to attract new teams to the sport, more effort needs to be geared towards decent pay further back in the fields. Some get their panties in a twist because they think I'm in favor of "participation trophies". What a laugh. Giving little kids a reward for participating is designed to do several things.....for the kids. It's the parents that ruin most kids sporting events. How that can be compared to a low budget sprint car driver ...that the sport needs....is beyond me.

Awsome job Port Guys, $50,000.00 to win the 50th annual.
Now please, please do not have the same pay for multiple positions. We want to see racing for every position, which makes the leaders lapping cars even more exciting. When positions in the back pay the same amount the cars start dropping out a lot sooner. When doing the purse please make every position pay a different amount.
