I'm pretty sure that SLS and "free" are mutually exclusive terms....I'm guessing Roger will have a couple driver/fan appreciation nights throughout the season though.
Speedbump I was wondering if you were the same guy that used to post a lot on WhoWon and 4m about the eastern Iowa tracks and Late Models in general. I grew up in Freeport, IL so I'd always read those threads as there were often mentions of drivers that I watched when I was younger.

Yup, that is me. Moved to Colorado in 2007 and really only check this and the Iowa Stock Cars MB anymore....to much riff raff on 4m.
Looking forward to the Eagle/Knoxville weekend....I have not been to a sprint show since the 2007 Knox Nat's.

You know speedbump the pits are not bad to watch from ..but a WoO show maybe different but with just minis as the only support class it might be awesome......where do you sit when I see you at the chili bowl infield?

Speedbump, PM me if you need any local tips and I can give you a call. I live 3 miles from the track, can give you local Lincoln geography tips around lodging, bars, etc. Some Eagle tips too but that is 1 thing, the local bar info. (One Eyed Dog) There are some cheap local gems in Lincoln to eat at you may wanna try. Runza, Tasty, DeLeions, Valetinos, etc. If you want top shelf I can steer you that way too but you have that in Denver. Also, There is a guy on the way to Eagle south on 148th a few miles who had a full size Sprint car up on a pole you may wanna go a few miles out of way to see. Anyone know if it is still there? Anyhow, glad to see the effort. It is inspiring.

I had a semi- legitimate reason to be in the chili bowl in field 1 year. Loved it! The rest of the time I sit on the front stretch.
Favorite sprint car memory was watching McCarl chase down Dollansky From the infield at dubuque IRA show back around 04 or 05

Well, I see that BA, Deet and 3miles answered your questions Speedbump. You'll enjoy yourself, for sure!! And if you buy a pit pass you can sit in the east end of the high-rise grandstand also.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

Thanks guys! My trip depends on the weather forecast and the price of a plane ticket on the tuesday before. I will check back for cheap hotels after I book
the flight.
