40 cars at Pevely. As usual, rumors of the WoOs demise have been greatly exaggerated.

I'm sorry but it's been raining cats and dogs in that area for nearly a week now. That stuff happens. The only way it could have been avoided that those guys didn't show up and get cancelled on is if they'd have cancelled a week ago, and that too would have drawn complaints.I've seen WOO go to Cali and cancel for damn near three weekends straight. It is what it is. Dirt racing this time of year is sketchy at best.

How many times have we seen the Pevely spring show cancel? Same with Knoxville spring WOO show, it's a waste of time. That thing has about an 85% chance of a cancellation, IMO. Even if they can race, if it's too cold for anyone to show up, they may cancel it.

Pevely was cancelled 7 out of 11 up to a few years ago due to rain, cold weather, or flooding.  I quit buying tickets in advance because of the $5 per ticket handling charge that they would not refund. The Ironman is a different matter so I buy 26 package tickets every year.
