First of all, I'm not dissapointed, I'm in the Midwest and do Husets and Knoxville. I don't have a dog in this fight. I just came to mess with a Narcissistic jack ass, who only thinks his opinion counts. Sorry skippy, their are a lot of people in this world, you aren't special.

You can't even answer a question, all you say is you know the truth, and the same garbage. try somthing else just once. life is just not that sad.

I'm done with you now, you bore me

You didn't pay attention to Bill V's post that proves you are wrong about the most competitive racing.  Re-read it and you'll figure out that the winners at Port Royal are coming from further back in the pack than any other 410 track. That means Port Royal has the most competitive racing, no matter how they prepared the track and no matter what you think of the prep.

What is your source for these facts?  Please share them with the board.

It's amazing to me that people don't understand the difference between what they call, or believe to be 'fact' or 'truth', when clearly its thier OPINION, which has nothing to do with 'truth' or 'fact'.

And it's also very funny that the one 'fact' you bring up is Port Royal's 4.4 average starting position for 2021, saying 'That tells me that it is too hard black and dry to be able to pass in the feature.'

I hope you do realize, that the 4.4 stat is the HIGHEST among all tracks running 410s regularly.  So if 4.4 tells you that hard black and dry makes it unable to pass, what does that say about other tracks that you claim have better surfaces?

Average Winning Starting Positions

  • 4.4 Port Royal Speedway (PA)
  • 4.3 Lincoln Speedway (PA)
  • 4.0 Knoxville Raceway (IA)
  • 3.9 Fremont Speedway (OH)
  • 3.6 Attica Raceway Park (OH)
  • 3.6 Sharon Speedway (OH)
  • 3.4 River Cities Speedway (ND)
  • 3.2 Husets Speedway (SD)
  • 2.2 Williams Grove Speedway (PA)
  • 2.2 Lernerville Speedway (PA)
  • 2.2 Jacksonville Speedway (IL)

Thanks for those FACTS... much appreciate the info.

TRUTH is someone would rather see drag racing where its stomp and steer instead of racing. I don't care if the track is black, brown, purple, or orange as long as cars can pass.

Good to know people think the 2.2 is better racing, now we know Stevie Wonder is enjoying the "racing".

Thanks Razor Steve for providing the best racing in the country based on the FACTS that there is more passing ALL night, INCLUDING the feature.

Also any idiot saying heats don't matter because they don't pay is not a dirt track fan anyways, so what's it matter what the blind man the wingedstrawser himself thinks.

Murphy STOP spewing out the bullcrap and the lies!

Tri State Sppedway in Haubstadt, IN is the best prepped track you have never been to!

Helluva job throwing out the troll line and stirring the pot though...

The numbers Bill put on here are very depressing.

Me and Murphy at our home 410 track- Husets- get to watch the winner charge all the way from inside 2nd row, YAY!!!

Is it time once and all for weekly shows to shitcan the wretched time trials and line up cars by some sort of POINTS INVERSION!?!?!?

I am guessing most of us on Hoseheads are old enough to remember when racing meant the top point fast guys starting towards the back and actually doing some PASSING and earning a win. Not this follow the leader horse dung.

I guess I can kinda understand how a guy new to the sport of sprint car racing could get confused about what makes a good race. Hint: passing.

Thanks for the info Bill. That's kind of interesting. I've found that people who can't tell their facts from their own opinions are like an early warning system for spotting narcissists.

Hey Strawser- chcek it out. According to the math, Port Royal has a surface that's twice as racy as Williams Grove. 4.4 verses 2.2. It just proves what a good job they do on surface prep at Port Royal.

I've always suspected Port was racier than the Grove, & this proves it

Ever hear about this "logic" thing????

If Port has the furthest back average winner's start, but thats's horrible, therefore all sprint car racing is horrible, no?

Plus, BillV's stats are about FEATURES, not heats...... so your continual carping about heats vs. features is meaningless

This clown has a new debating tool: instead of just "You can't handle the truth", now he adds "Jack".... VERY convincing! ;)

Good post.... I have no opinion on track prep, other than seeing if the race is competitive, but Haubstadt was my first Indiana bullring & got me hooked on wingless racing.

Totally agree on points inversion. I got started on dirt track back in the early 60s, Eastside Speedway in Waynesboro, Va. where Smokey Stover won 24 out of 26 features STARTING FROM THE BACK in 1962! It was exciting as could be. Of course the cars were all home built & different back then... he had the fastest car, but it takes some hellacious driving to pass all those guys!

They do. In fact, Port Royal has the most passing of any regular 410 track. See Bill V's post a little further back on this thread for the truth. Let me know if you need me to walk you through the math
