Port Royal has the best prepped track surface of any track I've never been too. Prove me wrong.

You couldn't tell the truth to save your ass. All you want to do is stick to your narative of it is good for heats and not the feature.. The fact is if you were there that the racing yesterday was piss poor even in the heats. I expected that and considered not going because showers were in the forecast right up to race time and I knew they wouldn't put much water on it. If they had then got some rain and had to cancell people would have bitched about that. It is good most of the time ( I left disapointed in the racing two times last year) but yesterday was not. It happens at all tracks. You see the reason for wanting desent racing in the heats is that like yesterday with 42 cars the guys starting outside a qualifying position might like to have a chance to race into a qualifying position. I suspect most drivers and owners care about that.

Hosehead level bickering aside, it's pretty cool that 2 tracks in the same area can attract 40 plus sprints 2 days in a row. Both shows were done in 2 hours or so and both paid pretty decent purses.

I think they should ditch pill draws and let the cars in each heat time against each other in hotlaps. Invert 4 and race. You pull a bad pill in a 42 car field on a daytime track, your chances of winning are slim to none before you even hit the track.

Ever hear the phrase "luck of the draw" . Lower the purse and give out participation trophies that sounds like the fair thing to do.

That's where you are wrong. (I know,first time-right?) The drivers and owners would rather have a track they can win on. Not every driver wants a flat-out, pedal to the metal speed fest. Those tend to favor the teams with bigger checkbooks and tend to be somewhat boring. The talented drivers like a track with a little slickness to it. When a guy has to use both feet and his talent to go fast, better racing occurs. You wouldn't know that because all you want to see is fast cars vroom! vroom!

Hahahahaha, WingedStrawser's head must have exploded when he saw this thread and he couldn't wait to get both screen names fired up. Good job, we love you. With every post you just get dumber and dumber. Great comedy, even on crappy days.

Maybe we could code name _ort Royal, that way the name wouldnt trigger certain _eed off _eo_le.
Maybe call it _ennsylvanias _erfect _lace.
Or the _restious _alace.
Or the _remire S_eedway of _ennsylvania
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

It's amazing to me that people don't understand the difference between what they call, or believe to be 'fact' or 'truth', when clearly its thier OPINION, which has nothing to do with 'truth' or 'fact'.
And it's also very funny that the one 'fact' you bring up is Port Royal's 4.4 average starting position for 2021, saying 'That tells me that it is too hard black and dry to be able to pass in the feature.'
I hope you do realize, that the 4.4 stat is the HIGHEST among all tracks running 410s regularly. So if 4.4 tells you that hard black and dry makes it unable to pass, what does that say about other tracks that you claim have better surfaces?
Average Winning Starting Positions
- 4.4 Port Royal Speedway (PA)
- 4.3 Lincoln Speedway (PA)
- 4.0 Knoxville Raceway (IA)
- 3.9 Fremont Speedway (OH)
- 3.6 Attica Raceway Park (OH)
- 3.6 Sharon Speedway (OH)
- 3.4 River Cities Speedway (ND)
- 3.2 Husets Speedway (SD)
- 2.2 Williams Grove Speedway (PA)
- 2.2 Lernerville Speedway (PA)
- 2.2 Jacksonville Speedway (IL)

Thanks for the info Bill. That's kind of interesting. I've found that people who can't tell their facts from their own opinions are like an early warning system for spotting narcissists.
Hey Strawser- chcek it out. According to the math, Port Royal has a surface that's twice as racy as Williams Grove. 4.4 verses 2.2. It just proves what a good job they do on surface prep at Port Royal.

Who's truth is this? I hate to call names, but with enough people explaining to you what truth is, I think you just plain dumb.
I'll ask one last time, why does it set you off if someone likes Port Royal? just let it go, eveything will be ok.

The truth is winged strawser is part of the Port Royal promotional team but he won't admit it. Think about it, he gets tons of publicity for Port Royal when he comes on here and acts like he hates the place, then we all have to check the place out on the tube or in person. Guess what, we all seem to like Port Royal and want to see more of their racing product, sure looked like the drivers were getting after it in the heat races too. I gotta give winged stawser a tip of the derby, thats damn good promoting son !

There = a place.
Their = something they own.
That's a grammar fact!
Apparently you don't care how competitive a race is, only whether the surface looks like you think it should. You need to get out more.
