Gotta think its human nature... why do people get so emotionally involved in their pro football teams? Its just a bunch of overpaid guys playing football, hardly any of them are from the city they play in

I like PR, Lincoln, the Grove, BAPS, but best of all Path Valley... thats some real hillbilly track! wink

I have often wondered if a couple wild card payout spots deep in the field would help attract teams which know there is very little chance of finishing 1st. For example $500 extra for 6th and 12th but only announce the spot or make the draw with 5 laps left.

They do this type of thing in amateur horse racing where I live. It encourages beginners to take part cause there is always a random chance of winning something and helps pay the bills. It actually works very well.

Not a bad idea, IMHO. But you'll probably get grief for expressing it....
