If it wouldn't have rained we would have seen a Labor Day type race track and that has been some of the best racing the past few years. I agree Tyler Reeser was coming and fast.

Funny, the racing all year has been good on the "half throttle, bottom feeder" surface. Well, unless you don't like passing throughout the field. Every week you see guys on top, bottom and middle if they are hooked up but you and Strawser will only bitch, like always. Nice team support for Port Royal on just a regular race night (30) 410s, (24) Late Models and (26) Limited Late Models. Word is out, Port is the place to be. Just ask Lincoln, which paid $6900 to win and pulled 23 cars. There's a reason for that.

Was wondering the same thing. 23 cars racing for $6900. Hour and a half drive northwest and 30 410’s battling for a regular weekly purse!?!? Interesting for sure.

Interesting for sure - and while you can bet that the 69K will be in the front at Port, not so much at Lincoln.
They ran what, like 10th a few weeks ago? But they got the mojo since then. And , it’s just further proof of just how good this team is - two completely different tracks, two completely different set-ups, two completely different drives - two wins.

Who left Lincoln because the 69K was running there? STUPID comment with no proof. Look at the field at the Port.

Both tracks had stellar fields and both tracks had good surfaces that allowed for plenty of passing. That's the case virtually every week. I jump back and forth between both tracks. I do prefer the smaller tracks but both tracks rarely disappoint. The Port vs. Lincoln shit is getting old.

What I want to know is why the cars running the All Star series were at Port Royal?
If not for the rain the All Stars had a two race schedule at Attica this past weekend. Attica is a short track as is Lincoln. And probably half of the All Star schedule is made up of short track/bull rings like Lincoln.
How are some of these teams going to get better at running short tracks if they all go to their comfort zone any chance they get.
Just thought you can only get better at your weakness by working at it.

Just a thought here. I think the number of big money races at Port anymore helps their car count at times like Sat. because guys want laps there to better their chances in those money races. Look at the top fifteen Sat night and there was no one there to avoid competition. As far as which track is better, go where you like best at quit bitching about the other.

Not stupid at all, DD leaves a track he has always run , to run for half the money. Most great drivers stay with the money, Money only reason Ld was there, We all know he likes port better. Guess that why he HALL OF FAMER!! If not true , why did Wolfe, Smith , and Macri leave port to come to LINCOLN sat. $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Smith has been splitting time between both tracks. Only Wolf and Macri left Port for the 6900 and no one left Lincoln. DD has been at Port four times this year, Lincoln twice sooooo, lol. Not sure where you get he "left" lol. Really the only car that consistently runs there that went to the amazing Port Royal Speedway was Haas, that's it. Drivers know which track is the place to be on Saturday nights, and this week drove that point home.

You don't pay attention to racing much do you??? DD has, without looking up numbers, likely been at Port more over the past few years so not sure where your info comes from. Besides, he says it every week, Port is the best track around. No Lincy driver comes to Port and wins on a regular basis. If you want to start that argument, now about Lucas. He's a Port regular who goes to Lincoln and wins sooooo. Sorry if we are bursting your "drivers ran from Dewease" bubble. Like someone else said, STUPID COMMENT, with no facts to back it up.

Tastes great / less filling. < just as tedious and just as relevant.
Coke / Pepsi Kinser/ Swindell McDonalds / Burger King Ginger / Mary Ann Jennifer / Bailey Elephants / Donkeys Batman / Spiderman Coors / Water
It goes on and on...

You've got that right. I've been to Lincoln and Port 3 times each and have had a great time at both.

Can't believe some of you guys argue about two great tracks like Lincoln and Port Royal. The rest of us wish we had that "problem" of chosing. Be thankful for what you have.
I will retire back there in five years and probably be like Fixxxer - alternate, plus throw in some Grandview as I love the northeast modifieds, and a micro race somewhere now and then. And that's just Saturday nights!

+1
If I lived in the middle, I'd flip a coin - or split 50/50. I favor the big half miles and the speed, but never saw a bad race at Lincoln.
Unfortunately, I'm 4 hours north of the middle and attend No Speedway most Saturday nights. I assure you that no matter who runs where, how many cars, track surface, etc, etc - a bad night at Port or Lincoln is better than any night at No Speedway. And even moreso for many's favorite punching bag that runs on Friday nights.

I'd guess that it's more like 75% of the all-star schedule is short tracks. A lot of western PA guys at Port also which is also a bit of a head scratcher since Lernerville is very similar to Lincoln but maybe they felt it would be better to get some track time on a big track and Port does have some big $$$ races, I'd say more than Lincoln. Who knows? PA seems to be the only place in the country where a lot of drivers like the 1/2 miles more than the bullrings. Looked like a packed house at Lincoln. Maybe they just need to promote better to get more cars, have more bigger paying shows that pay good through the field instead of just the winners share..

Of course you're right
Gotta think its human nature... why do people get so emotionally involved in their pro football teams? Its just a bunch of overpaid guys playing football, hardly any of them are from the city they play in
I like PR, Lincoln, the Grove, BAPS, but best of all Path Valley... thats some real hillbilly track! ;)
