Nope, He is an Outlaw and no longer Posse. You won't get a single Central Pa fan on here who is claiming he is currently Posse!!!! It's the rules,( ha ha), we can't have it both ways. It is the same for Lucas Wolfe.

Central Pa fan would tell you, if an Outlaw had to win, Cody would be at the top of the list as to who they would like it to be...:)
Opinions may vary...

He's having a hell of a lot better year than last. All this with no sponsor. Luckily he has a great car owner. All the shit talkers can eat their crow. Huge win tonight for Cody. Congrats.

Very happy for him! Glad we have a 'crop' of young, talented sprint car drivers to keep us entertained well in to the future.

The sponsor cubic is referring to is Kahne. Definition of sponsor: verb.- to provide funds for. Look it up in the dictionary. The act of sponsoring has not direct relationship to the amount of stickers on your car. My guess is, it is going to take a lot more wins this year to get "sponsorship" from Kahne without some stickers on the car next year.

Yeah 8th in points is really impressive with the resources at his disposal! But he's not emptying out the trailer every other week like last year? Good thing cause pappa joe would go broke!

Exactly, so no one should bring up "unsponsored car" again. Because it is not an unsponsored car. It just isn't sponsored by a company. Some folks are acting like he pulled into town with a gooseneck trailer hooked to a '78 chevy truck and pulled off some miracle running against huge dollar teams with a 12 year old motor and used tires.

Yes, Kahne is funding it. No shit. It's just a hell of a lot easier to win when there is stickers on a car. If you don't have money, you're not gonna win. There's a lot of dickheads on this forum who need to give credit when it's due for once. Just sayin'

Instead of complaining about who is or is not sponsoring the kid, why can't people just be happy for the kid. I think some people are just jealous of the fact that Kasey owns his car and think that he should always be running top 5 every race. Some may forget that this is only his second full season with the outlaws and he is still seeing a lot of tracks for the first time. I don't care if you have top quality equipment, your going to have your struggles. I'm sure in the next few years he will be contending for wins each week, so give the kid a break.

You really think Kahne or Stewart are paying for their operations out of their own pockets? Darrah has gone through stretches where he demolished racecars every other race. I would say he has a Posse sponsor. He has raced in Pennsylvania locally quite a bit this last year.

Yes. Out of pocket. I would think 99% agree with me. He won't run out of pocket for long. And I am happy for him that he won a race. Just saying I don't think he will be able to keep his ride long without a big sponsor as Kahne is likely not going to keep that outfit rolling down the road without one next year.
