So glad to be there and witness the kids first outlaw victory. Great night for the Rahmer family.

Thanks to Lincoln and the Woo for running an efficient program.

On that last restart when they drove it into one, I had a flashback to the Monday Speedweek race. Gravel took the line Dietrich ran on the bottom, and Freddie took the line that Larson ran just to the outside of his right rear. Only .... this time the roles reversed and there was enough grip for Rahmer to complete the pass and drive to the victory.

Great race. I'd have like to see what happened if Dietrich hadn't tried to shoot the gap in three.  Would Gravel had held on? Could Danny have run him down? Doesn't matter. In the end, we have a new Outlaw winner.

Congrats.

They are saying Fred and Freddie are the 6th father/son team to win a WoO feature. Who are the other?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Great job Freddie.  I just wish the old man would keep his mouth shut and stay out of VL.  Let Freddie enjoy his win without getting in the way while cussing, swearing, and drinking beer in victory lane.  The yound man has so much more class than his father ever did.

Hope he wins one on the weekend, this will show all he's ready for the big boys tour having both won on big and small tracks.  PA used to have some of the best owners in the country with lots of $$$$, time for somebody there to make a comeback with this young speedster.  Here's hoping.....

Congratulations Freddie Rahmer !      It could be an interesting weekend now that the Rahmer team has this momentum.   Two years ago Freddie had an outstanding WoO weekend at the Grove in July and had two top 10 finished where he passed 7 cars the first night and 6 the next.    Last year he started in 23rd and finished 9th.      Get that boy in the dash !      Before that it was Stevie Smith winning some big WoO shows there in Rahmer's car.

I don't think Danny Dietrich would have had time to both reel in Gravel and pass him too.      But it sure would have been fun to watch him try..........    Thank you Danny Dietrich for always making it exciting.

What are you, the Victory Lane morality police?  I thought Sr's line something to the effect of "congratulations, you won a World of Outlaws race, don't forget you have to go to work in the morning" was an instant classic that underscores what weekend racers are all about.

If you don't like beer and abandoning political correctness when experiencing the thrill of watching a son beat the best we can't be friends.  ;)

Lmao...well said.  Fred's a class act and old school.  Not to mention one of the best to ever do it. He was obviously very proud and at worst a little over zealous.  Big deal he curses and drinks beer.  That's what going to the track's all about.  If you don't like it I'd suggest a new hobby...perhaps knitting will suit your sensibilities more.

+1

This is sprint car racing - Beer and non-political correctness! Political correctness is why there are former NASCAR bleachers at The Old Bradford Speedway - among other small tracks.

Reminds me of - not sure where this came from a long time ago- "Sprint Car racing needs a whole lot less chrome and a whole lot more Bobby Allen"......or Fred Rahmer.

Stan Donnit was not in attendance last night but Area 51 was pleased to see yet another name added to the Posse Outlaw Asswhipper List in front of an electric crowd. Several big names were pedestrians last night... But not Little Freddie!

Big deal. Most of the people who go to the races drink beer and curse. Take a walk through the pits after the races sometime with your eyes and ears open. I'm afraid you'll be very offended if that's all it takes. I'll take someone who is unfiltered and real like Fast Freddie over some clean cut corporate drone NAPCAR pretty boy. Guys like Fred exemplify what our sport is all about.
