Not sure why this has conflict has to happen (one or both of the tracks are gonna lose on this deal). The car counts just won't be there IMO this late in the year with everything winding down. Just stupid..........

Your right in what you say , probably both will lose to some degree , but  I can't support both so I chose Susquehanna  right now even though Fred and Debbie Rahmer are friends and are doing a great job . I think right now Scott Gobrecht needs more support to show him we support him even though he is co-promoting with Todd Fisher ,as he is track owner.

Pit fee for Path Valley on the 11th is $30.  Registration fee is also $30.  Haven't heard about the pit parking fee or the pill draw fee yet.  I wonder if you can pay all the fees at one location.  Probably a service that they will offer for a small surcharge.

I grant you the surface may not be great at Susky but the racing is usually pretty good , but should be even better with new clay I understand is coming for next year , along with other things Scott hopes to get done . I told him I would help to do physical labor  or things to get the job done to help improve Susquehanna . We all know who go to Susquehanna what has to be done , and it will be timely and costly . So I really hope fans and cars  turn out for the remaining races at Susky .

Just my opinion but it seemed very irrogant to put the Path show over the already scheduled Susky show.  They had the common sense not to race against Port Royal on the 17th - which to be honest would have been much better for the Rahmer deal.  They could have gotten the bulk of the Lincoln guys who do not race Port and will not race Port.  Instead they will split up the small track guys with the guys that run just about anywhere into two Sunday night shows??  Sunday nights are already really tough and add in the end of the year and guys are out of money, it could get pretty cold, people work on Monday. They are taking an already small group of guys willing to race and split them up even more.  Again just my opinion but I'm not so sure 410 drivers even like running Path.  Fans love it but it is easy to tear stuff up and because it is unusually small for this area, not easy to set up.  Susky would be easier to get dialed in for most teams because it is a lot like Lincoln.

Seems like a no win but the reality is Rahmer will have a ton of 600's that will put a ton of money into the back gate.  Hopefully Susky will have a lot of 305's.  Again just an opinion but the 410 racing may be very bad next Sunday but I'll take my chances supporting Gobrecht.

Your right microsprint6 on all you say , something should have been worked out before . Thanks for supporting Scott Gobrecht , crowd may not be good except its close to home for most fans and drivers and its been shown already that fans can't travel as much as they use too for various reasons .

I agree it is a shame this has to happen. I really like what Fred Rahmer has done with his promoting but I wish this would have been on another day. For me to run to Path on a Sunday night, which is a 3 1/2 round trip, would be crazy. I am excited about Scott promoting Susquehanna and want to show support wherever I can. And besides that Susky is 15 min from home which makes Sunday night racing doable.

I went to watch 600 Micros put on a better show than the "410 support class" at Path Valley a couple of time this year...it is a BRILLIANT MOVE by RAHMER to have the 600s "pad' the back gate while the 410s "pad" the front gate.

it will be Susky for me this time

Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

Nice comments  sir  , very true . Fred is doing a great job , but I think more people will stay close to home this time ? I think  but the money may draw the cars to Path Valley but it maybe split ?

I'm a ten minute drive from Susky and can hear the cars from my back deck.... It's and an hour and twenty minute drive for me to Path Valley.... I'll be a Path Valley on the 18th.

I'll never forget the green burger I got at Susky back in 2007....I didn't even take a bite...I tossed it on the roof of the old food shack...Its proablly still there...

I'm sure the new owner will make sure this is taken care of!  The track is in good hands now

It stinks these dates couldn't be worked out...

I don't see what the big deal is about this. So many people seem to have their asses out of joint over it and its really no more complex than what we have going on weekly in Central Pa. Think about it, during the heart of the season, Williams Grove runs unopposed on Friday night then on on Saturday night, Lincoln and Port Royal both run. In this case, we have Port Royal running unopposed on Saturday and then Susky and Path Valley running against one another on Sunday. There will be plenty of cars. I will be at Path Valley because I think they'll have overall the better show. If recent history is any indication, Path Valley will have better quality and quantity as far as the field is concerned. That said, Hodnett and Dewease both plan to run Susky so at least there will be a few good cars there. Path Valley according to Twitter is going to have some invaders from the All Stars in attendance so both tracks should be fine. I really don't see where this is a big deal.

Another important fact ALL of you are missing is that the 600's also are running for a chance at a test session in a 410 sprint car. The dates to get that done are getting slim also . The Nationals are at Lindas on Friday and Saturday this weekend so it works out really well for the 600 teams to have a 3 day weekend instead of coming back some other time for a one day show. I'll be at Path (my favorite track). I would have chose it over Port if the date wasn't switched. Just go to your favorite venue and be happy you have choices.

Thats the arrogance of Great Fred Rahmer i never rooted for him when he raced be it 358 modified or sprint car so I hope all the 410 sprinters go to susky and people as well!      Ole Freddie isnt as well like as most of you may think!

Totally agree. Fred Rahmer thinks he is GOD with all the fan response he has gotten from his earlier Path Valley shows.  I respect his career stats, but he is a scumbag.  He will screw anybody, anytime he can.  Susky already had the date scheduled but Good Ole Fred tried to screw them.  Just ask anybody who raced against him, he was as dirty as they came as a driver.

I hope his show at Path Valley falls flat on it's face!

Hope in one hand and shit in the other and see which fills up first. Like him or not, Fred is a great promoter so I don't think we'll be seeing him fall flat on his face anytime soon. His events just seem to be getting bigger abd better. Why can't people just be happy that we have enough fans, teams and tracks in Central Pa to support 2 tracks racing on the same night? Hell every Saturday night, Port and Lincoln race against one another and no one seems to give a rats ass. This is not at all a big deal. Susky will basically get the same car count and crowd that they've got the last few times they ran. Susky may take a couple cars that would've ran there from Path and Path may take a car or 2 from Susky but both tracks will be fine and I think Susky will basically be status quo which isn't exactly great but still. I don't see Path Valley hurting them more than they've already hurt themselves. Susky hasn't been getting decent crowds or car counts lately even when no one is running against them and the reason for that is because the track surface has been pure shit. It's rough, what little clay that's left on the track is junk, its full of rocks and even if the clay was decent, they don't have the proper equipment to prepare it correctly. The last 3 times I've been there, they pushed the cars off for engine starts and the track wasn't even close to being packed yet. When things are like that, you're gonna lose cars and when you lose cars, you're gonna lose people. Their crowd and field was going to suck whether or not Fred decided to run Sunday. That said, they'll still get some cars and even when the track is junk, Susky usually puts on some good racing hence the reason its one of my favorite tracks anywhere. I like Path Valley more so that's where I'll be but regardless, everyone just needs to calm the hell down and go to whichever track you choose.

Oh I realize that some people don't like Rahmer

First time I saw people cheering when he hit the wall at Port Royal during Speedweek a few years back, was when I became a Fast Freddy Fan
