I see on IBRACN that Dusty Zomer is a confirmed NSL driver for 2015. With the 91 car only ever racing locally did he land a true full time ride with BWW or someone else for next year? Any info is appreciated. Also curious if he was out of the 91 who would replace him? Maybe it'll be Don Droud since some were saying he was cooking up a new ride for next year.

Thanks! I didn't remember seeing any press releases about the BWW car and Zomer teaming up for next year. I'll be looking forward to seeing what the 91 and 47 cars end up doing going into this off season now too. Keep them coming cause it feels like with the new series we are going to see a lot of changes.

I can try a shed some light on a few of your questions:
1. Tod has said you will see a Big Game car if not cars running the series. Who will be driving them is yet to be determined. Although, with the Dude and Guy finishing 2nd their first night out of the box against some pretty stiff competition I would think that helped their cause.
2. My guess is this is why Lunstra and Dobs parted ways. Lunstra wants to run the full series and Dobs doesn't want to travel as much. You will see Dobs in his own ride at a few of the shows I would imagine.
3. McCarl would be stupid not to run the series if he has the resources to run it. Plain and simple.
4. With the money being offered in this series, I would be surprised to see Ian run the full Outlaw tour instead of the NSL. My bet would be on Ian running the full NSL with Outlaw shows/Knoxville/Husets mixed around the NSL.
5. That is an interesting question and it would not surprise me to see them get together. However, I do know there have been a few "disagreements" in the pits between the Lunstra crew and McCarl. My bet would be on Henderson in the Lunstra car since Zomer is eating wings in 2015.
6. No clue
This is mostly pure speculation. Take it as you wish and let the silly season begin!!

Is Lunstra's stuff that much better than the Sunby deal. I'd say he's got a pretty good seat where he's at.

I would say they both have top notch equipment, not one better than the other besides personal preference, but a lot more racing with lunstra, strictly Knoxville with sunby

I just find it ironic that this isn't on your website. Once again you play favortism towards the BWW team yet have no hesitation to post any other strong rumor or fact all over your site. Just like when you decided not to share certain information in the Roger Crockett departure. Another thing that doesn't seem right was that you had no problem reporting news that was wrong regarding the pay structure for the Williams Grove National Open. So, with no dis-respect intended I ask, why isn't the news about Zomer going to the BWW team on your site? Isn't this the kind of news that you strive to report?

So you guys are upset that you read it here and not on IBRACN? I'd say the majority of the people that visit Brad's site are on hoseheads too.
It's called a rumor for a reason but it's up to you as to how much you want to look into the "rumor".

Both have top notch stuff. I just don't think Henderson would turn down something with a lot more travel involved. I don't think the Sunby car has seen a track other than Knoxville the past couple years. I am not trying to say anything bad at all against the Sunby car. It is one of the cars to beat at Knoxville for sure. Lustra 70+ race season, Sunby 20-25 race season.

Yo', wannabees, Brad is a well known, respected semi-journalist/reporter/blogger or whatever you want to call him. He has many friends and connections in the business most of whom think he is a top notch guy, which is correct. Jealousy is not only rampant when drivers are concerned but media folks as well, c'est la vie.....

I think all the assuming that Lunstra will field a car to race a schedule like that may be premature. He may well be thinking of running something like that, or he may step back for a year and just help someone out or anywhere in between. Who knows?

Zoom zoom has been with BWW for over a month now and i dont recall any wins but hes been darn fast against some great teams. IF they stick with him i think the wins will come so for Dustys sake i hope they keep him.

Check again Stroker...it is in the Silly Season page....been there for several days now. No favoritism at all...I found out the information and posted it....pretty simple.
As far as the WG story...I reported what was told to me by a team owner that had a car participating in that race...sorry if he didn't get the information correct...thus, I didn't get the information correct. I was wrong and I admit that but I'm only as good as my source is so my apologies.

Ford...you have your opinion and you are free to express it...but what you don't know (and what I've already explained previously) is that I did get both sides of the story. I did report on one side of it. BUT, I was asked by the other side to not post anything and let it go. So, I honored his wishes and did not post anything regarding his side of the story. I made a generally vague statement and that was it. Sorry this doesn't please your wishes but I was doing what was asked of me by those directly involved in the story.

Don't win races? I'm pretty sure the Lunstra team is one of the winningest teams in the upper midwest - or anywhere for that matter - for the past 8 years. There are very few teams out there with more wins during that span - including a 25 win season in 2006 (I believe that was the year). So apparently glitz and glamour DOES win races - or wait, maybe it was that Dobmeier guy behind the wheel....
