Fans want to see big races at the end of season , not before , but at closing night . This is one reason why the World Finals are successful ,its the last big race , not the concept , to me its boring with all the qualifying on Thursday night . They could make it better for fans , but there is no creativity or original thought with the WRG , JUST DOLLAR SIGNS because sprint car fans are so loyal and crave more .

A beautiful, warm day had everything to do with the gerat turnout. If it had been cold or a chance of rain, there would have been half the crowd. Running a big show this late in the season is always gonna be a little risky. Couldn't ask for a better night, track was in nice racy shape, good field, big crowd and a great feature race with a lesser known posse driver pulling off the upset! Perfect night.

Dude you are out of your mind, please stop with the same lame post about WRG not caring about fans, I got exactly what I paid for last night, a seat to watch a Woo race at Port Royal. WRG owes nothing to me or any other than that. Give it a rest already, your wrong and everyone is sick of reading your repetitive posts about the same thing. You said last night race proves one thing, your so dense you don't realize if they would have had this race on a Saturday night in July they would have had more cars and more fans, being at the end of the season actually hurt the profits made by all involved, so it's not just about the $$$.

Your wrong , but you are entitled to your opinion .I state facts not just opinion , but I will spare you my honest opinions because I care about all fans and making it better for you and everyone . I do know what I am talking about when I make these comments , but I will refrain from such honest knowledgeable comments I know are true . Sorry to bore you with trying to help .

Your right Mr Caulfield , they had it all there way last night . It was the third best crowd of the Port season I was told by officials last night . They make people feel wanted at the Port , a great management ,doing a great job .

Honest and knowledgeable? You don't even make sense!!! And your posts are never gonna help anything, you really believe your posts on here have some influence on the real world or will help make things better for every fan including me? I don't want or need your help, You are straight up delusional, I just hope you were serious when you said you would refrain from posting this crap any more.

Winning drive, you make statements lIke the WRG dosnt care about fans, let's hear ONE example of what you mean by that. If your going to make negative comments at least back it up with some fact or statement to support your negativity.

Now look what you did Winning Drive. You have got our friend Staggy's panties in a wad...pissed in her Cherios and ruined her day. I like your posts. At least you are positive and constructive.....instead of calling everyone who disagrees with her an idiot, etc.

The World Finals is a tremendous event, and "WRG" took a big risk putting it on at first because of the date, because there's not a ton of local dirt fans in the area.
You say WRG is all about money, what business isn't?

Ok , they never reply , or listen to fans like yourself . Admission costs, not trying to improve there show , one example is Thursday night qualifying at the World Finals , or improving seating at Volusia or other facilities or tr they own , concession costs at some tracks , there marketing , there music selection between races , fan giveaways could be improved . These are just a few things to improve the fan experience at there races .I hate to be critical of WRG BUT they continue not to improve the fan experience at there shows in my opinion , and thats my opinion , so you may disagree but these are simple things I've seen to show me they don't really care that much . But why should they try to improve the crowds are good at there shows .There is always room for improvement even at the best shows . Don't get me wrong I am not mad at them , I just would like to see them do more for fans .Is that so wrong Stagger ?

Your right they took a chance at that time of year , but fans are always wanting that big season ending event , so they knew fans would back it and they did for various reasons . One is like I said that big race that there home track didn't put on . They could make it better , but they really haven't tried or yes they added modifieds to the event ? Yes , your right all businesses are about money but I believe its the way they conduct there business that is not fan friendly , but it doesn't matter fans back there brand of racing .

Sorry, your right winning drive, WRG does nothing for the fans, they don't care about the quality of the show or giving fans what they pay for. I also agree with the 45 threads you started about local PA tracks (except Port) not caring about fans, and only being in it for the money. And now that Larsonfan agrees with your post I know your right. winning drive, thank you for all you do for me, the fan.

You hate to be critical....and then every post is critical...lol
What is wrong with the seating at Volusia??? that have metal bleachers across the front stretch on a track with good sight lines...oh yeah there is one wooden bleacher in turn 4 oops. What do you want them to do at a track that really only has a crowd 10 days a year.
What are they supposed to do about concession stand prices, except for Volusia, Lernerville, and maybe Rolling Wheels (not anymore, was just sold), they don't run the concessions...the track does. Charlotte is expensive, but they are run by the track too and WRG doesn't own the track.
You don't like the music...fine, what music would you like, because I am sure I wouldn't like it. That is something that is entirely opinion and is never objective. Could they do some more fan stuff in the stands...ok maybe.
The admission prices are also controlled by the tracks for the most part....they charge what they feel they have too to make money. Is the sanctioning fee high...probably, is the purse a big payout...yeah. But the tracks book them and the people show up. About 75% of the things you criticize WRG for are not things they run, they sanction the race, set the rules, provide some promotional work, can help with ticket sales if the track wants, guarantee a certain purse and the attendance of their member teams. Other than that, most of what you are talking about is the tracks and not the travelling circus.
And what would you like them to do at WOrld Finals...you criticize the qualifying night without giving a solution. There are almost 200 cars to qualify.....that requires a long procedure. If your suggestion is to get rid of time trials, good luck getting the big name teams and drivers to agree to that.

I guess the difference between you and I is I go to the track for racing, You apparently go for the music selection and fan giveaways. Anything can be improved, but you make blanket statements that WRG and tracks in general don't care about fans and that's not true. Sure some things can be improved but at the end of the day, if the racing was good I don't care what song JG plays before a heat race or how much my hot dog costs, I saw a hell of a race and I would have happily paid $40 for a pit pass if they were racing again today. If I notice a change in music next year at the Outlaw shows I'll be sure to give you all the credit.

At least you have a sense of humor , I never said they didn't totally care , I said they didn't do enough for fans , and I never said that Pa tracks didn't care , I said also that they can do more ,as demonstrated by Port Royal in recent years. I don't claim to do alot for fans I only do claim more can be done .

Ok , I guess I sound critical but there are things I don't agree with regarding WoO POLICIES , rules , etc. but that is difference of opinion . They have more say then you think especially when they run the show at some of the races they actually promote . The grandstand at Volusia use to be very tight , no aisle room ,once you got in, you were in ? Your right concession prices are high in Charlotte , but I know things could be changed . No , I don't like Johnny Gibson selection of music intro's but your right its opinion , but I think more creativity could be shown by the cast . As far as World finals ,I realize they have alot of cars to qualify , but that could be changed and some racing should be presented other then I think the modifieds ? last I heard , I went there the first two years but I didn't care for the way they presented it so I didn't return . No , I would get rid of time trials ,but do it in a better way which could be done .
I have in the past made suggestions to them to no avail , so I don't bother in writing , or e-mailing them because I NEVER get replies , no one has all the answers , I don't proclaim to but listen and try a better approach to improve the programs . I am sorry I just don't care for most of WoO racing while I respect the drivers , I don't respect some of there mgm ideas or policies . And yes more creative fan things can be done . I hope I answered your questions to me .
