In my small racing experience that is pretty serious. What caused the incident?

Jason Johnson and Darah got together in the A. Track Official went out to make sure Johnson was ok and get the cars off the track. Darrah tried to get at Johnson (who was still strapped into the car after getting upside down). Track Official prevented Darrah from getting to Johnson, Darah kept yapping at the official and Johnson until Darah went after the official. As soon as I saw it, I thought he should be DQ'd. I get the heat of the moment and blah blah blah, but going after a driver when still strapped in is one thing shoving officials etc is another thing, they made the right call. IMO

I didn't see what caused the accident, but apparently Cody thought it was Jason's fault. The cushion was treacherous. Cody's teamate wrecked himself in about the same spot earlier in the race.
The scariest part of the accident was as Jason was flipping, Cody plowed in to the top of his cage. Thankfully the wing was still covering the roll cage and probably helped protect Jason.
After the wreck, Cody jumped out of his car. I honestly thought he was going over to make sure Jason was ok, but instead he proceeded to run his mouth.
We all have moments of weakness, but Cody's lack of self control cost him some valuable points. Cody looked more like a spoiled brat than an Outlaw. Almost Tyler Walker like! Not impressed!

What happened with Darrah is he is spoiled little brat who is about to lose a very nice ride and its no ones fault but his own! Jason couldve been hurt but yet he runs over to try to take a shot at him and then has a run in with the official! Kid needs an attitude adjustment! Real class act!! David Gravel would look really nice in that KKR #4!! JUst imagine what he could do with a top notch ride!

It's no secret that KKR isn't a big fan of Jason Johnson. Cody probably thought it would impress the boss man by going after him; turns out it bit him in the ass. Stupid move. I am sure the DQ he got and the loss of points and prize money didn't go over too well.
He usually has one of the fastest cars on the track, he just lacks the patience and "know how" to win races. I really like Cody and would love to see him succeed.

1. It was Jason's fault he ran right over the other car causing himself to flip in front of Darrah.
2. Darrah was not going to fight the guy the fire guy is the one who took it wrong and started the pushing
3. This was almost the same thing that happened at Williams Grove the time that Dolansky was on fire and Darrah jumped out to help him when no fire men seen the car was on fire and the safety crew was yelling on the radio to tackle Darrah as they thought he was running to go after Dolansky Darrah went on to win that race

You Sir need to stop make excusses for a spoiled brat's actions. He is not of Outlaw caliber and the sooner Kasey gets rid of him the better. He thinks he is a bad ass and one of these days he's going to meet up with the wrong person and he won't have to worry about being fired he'll be medically dismissed. He's fast just like everyother driver is, the other drivers know how to make it to the end of the race. I seen him burn his tires up in ten laps a couple years ago at Sedalia, I guess he thought he could win a race in ten laps, guess not he was at the trailer before the end of the race. He hasn't learned anything it doesn't seem. JMO!!!!!

Sure looked to me like he was going after Johnson and not just checking on him. He was waving his arms and seemed very agitated when he got out of the car. Again - looked more like he was in attack mode him rather than on a mission of mercy.

I don't have anything against Cody, but for being given the opportunity to have the best equipment available over the last few years he sure doesn't have much to show for it. If it's true that he was trying to get at Jason for any reason other than to help him then he deserves to lose his ride. That's pretty low to go after a guy that just crashed still buckled in his car. Hopefully, for his sake, he has a good explanation. jmo

I agree with Gravel.

Pretty sure Kasey is close with the Rutz family, so the Gravel thing may be a pipe dream.

Please... I am sure Mr. Kahne is a very smart business man . Gravel would be an Asset
to add him to his team.
I think out of respect to the Rutz Family a post like this is not necessary to be hashed up Again!!!
and for the record.... It was a racIng accident. Not a night out at a local watering hole with a irresponsible

I did not see what happened last night but have seen some of Darrrah's tough guy comments during some post race interviews. This is so unlike his team owner who is always pretty cool calm and collected. Where I come from they call what he has little big man complex. I don't think Kasey will tolerate much longer. Anyways I agree David Gravel would be a great choice. Can you imagine the success he would have in a ride like that. What a compliment to KKR he would be or any other big name team for that matter.

Kasey is a smart man and he wouldn't like gravel at Skagit or Elma .
I don't aim to please.
I aim to hit the target.

Just watched it on The Cushion. Unreal. Cody without a doubt was showing his ass, not trying to help. He actually goes after him not once, but twice. What an idiot. Kasey and team should be ashamed of his actions.
