It was on IBracn about 3 weeks ago.  Forget the owner's name, but he hasn't been let go so far??? Who knows.  As far as legal it said the 3 felonies and 4 misdemeanors or vice versa, he'd be appearing in court in February on those I believe it said.  His lawyer had previously filed a not guilty which is I suppose common.

He is going to star with Adam Sandler in a movie called The Longest Mile.  Instead of being about a prison football team, it is going to be about a prison racing team.

If so, shouldn't it be "The Longest 1/3 mile"??

It's easy to take shots at him now and make jokes - does that make you feel better about yourself?  Tyler Walker has made some very bad decisions and will be held accountable for his actions.  Why kick a man when he is down?

Tyler is not the devil.  Actually he's a hell of nice guy.  The times I've spent talking to him in California and here in Ohio have been great.  He alwasy took time out to talk to me and treat me nice.  Some of the other Outlaws I've talked to - the ones that people seem to worship so much, have not been so nice.

I am originally from Pennsylvania - it's not filled with saints and angels!

Talented as any just could not capitalize on the opportunity he was given as Sprint Cup was in his future if he could have stayed straight. It is up to him and most people wish him the best.

Being busted for a prostitute would not have bothered me that much.  Public intoxication wouldn't have been a big deal.  Even if he was just a grade A jackass, i wouldn't mind that much--besides, it actually seems like he is a nice guy to interview and talk to.  Not bashing his character--I have flaws too--plenty.

But, driving down a highway on a high speed chase, drugged up, with innocent men, women and children on the road?  We all make mistakes?   Really?

Sorry, anything short of a public apology and total sobriety will fall short for me.  And, unless I missed it, I haven't seen that yet.  And, being a repeat offender makes it harder for me to believe that either of those are going to happen anytime soon.  You don't get to just constantly f$%k up as a young adult and then one day decide to grow up and everything is ok.  And correct me if I'm wrong--he hasn't even made the decision yet to grow up, has he?  You act like he is reformed!

5 or 10 years from now, if he is back in a car and has truly cleaned up his act, then I will give him the benefit of the doubt although I will still be sceptical.  Until then, he's a criminal and not a great guy.

Tylers biggest problems is his fathers money!!!  If this guy would not have money behind him, he would have been locked up long before this!!!

The guy can flat out drive. He may be a great person in some eyes. The fact that he has had more oppertunity to better his life, the amount of quality rides he has had and lost is unreal!!!

Good driver or not, good person or not, He needs to be locked up in a facility where his fathers money can't reach him!!

egras,  I mostly agree with all you say except, "Public intoxication wouldn't have been a big deal".  Any time a person is intoxicated in public he or she most likely has a need or access to drive an automobile.  That makes it a BIG Deal!  Most fatal accidents are the results of impared driving, either drugs of alcohol.

+1. Why is it whenever he does something wrong people say "hey we all make mistakes too." I get that we all make mistakes and no one in this world is perfect, but there are different degrees of mistakes we all make. You do something stupid and get into a car wreck ok, go over the speed limit and get pulled over, "act out" in public and make a scene those are mistakes that probably all of us have made and regret and there are probably more.

However, high speed chase through 3 states with drugs in the car after, you have been busted for doing drugs before multiple times, constantly making scenes in public and or pit areas go beyond making mistakes. That is called being a dumb*** who needs to go to jail. It has nothing to do with his driving ability, heck he out drove state police through three states that shows hes a great driver. Quit feeling sorry for him and wishing him back because what Tyler really needs is for someone to tell him like it is.

You screwed up an opportunity that millions would love to have because of drugs, you have angered people because of drugs, you endangered the lives of many driving at a high speed through three states because of drugs. Do we see a common denominator. Einstein's definition of stupidity was doing the same thing over and over again expecting to get different results.

Did I say I condone what he did? I said, if you even read it, that he made some very bad decisons and will be held accountable.

So people who are busted (deservedly so) for DUIs everywhere, everyday, where they put innocent lives at risk is OK, or better than being "drugged up"?

Where did I say he was reformed?

Whatever - I'm sure you can come up with a good joke about him and give him a kick while he's down.

you are correct...he can flat out drive...on flat out tires - four miles on the rims according to the police.

from the above court artical:

Recap

Charges against Walker and McDonald stem from the Jan. 11, 2013, incident in which they are accused of fleeing from the police and drug possession.

The Nevada Highway Patrol was alerted to be to on the lookout for a reckless driver on northbound I-15. Once located, a pursuit began. One Nevada trooper clocked the car, a BMW, traveling at 140 mph.

The NHP initiated pursuit of the BMW which passed into Arizona and then into Utah where the tires were spiked at Utah mile post 2 and all four tires blown. The car then pulled over at mile post 6. Once stopped, Walker attempted to flee on foot but was quickly subdued by an Arizona Highway Patrol trooper. McDonald was taken into custody without incident.

According to a UHP statement, a subsequent search of the BMW produced alleged methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and alcohol.

Timothy Tyler Andrew Walker

Walker is a professional race car driver, having previously raced stock cars and trucks in various NASCAR races. He was suspended from racing in 2007 for violating the association’s drug policy.
